  HE IS A VERY HONEST MAN.
  IN 1965 WHEN I AND SOME OF MY SCHOOL MATES WERE STEALING SUGAR CANE FROM FARMS AROUND CHAPEL HILL IN TAKORADI,HE WAS NEVER INVOLVED IN THOSE DEALS.
  HE WAS THE ONE WHO REPORTED OUR BEHAVIOR TO TEACHER AWORTWE.
  WE WERE BEATEN AND SUSPENDED FROM SCHOOL TILL COLONEL ACHEAMPONG GOT US BACK TO OUR CLASS.

  He was my English teacher in Tamasco. Like all Norterners in high positions, they try to frame them to destroy them, even my friend Sulley Adam who did so much for ADB was framed!

  Your reference applies to about 30 years back. I have known much more descent people than Mr. Chebe who have transformed to be arm robbers.Reference is made to Don Chebe now not Don Chebe at Primary School.

  Not only have northerners disgraced themselves but they have totally disappointed Mahama. All they have paid Mahama is to use their appointments to engage in massive looting at places entrusted to them, virtually without exception. If the allegations against Don Chebe (my one year senior at Tamasco) turn out to be true, I will almost die of shame, forget about the disappointment.
  
  What has happened to the mythical northern honesty? Even SADA which was designed to alleviate the grinding poverty in the north, Northerners systematically plundered all the resources with nothing left to show.

  Why do Chief Executives appointed to corporations like GBC, Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and the like do not often complete the tenure of their appointments and the workers pounce on them with charges of corruption and what have you? Do the workers think they own these institutions? I suggest the government sell these institutions to them or allow them appoint their own members as CEO'S for all to see their performance

  The corruption allegation should not only be the prime reason for calling for don chebe"s exit from gbc....the gentleman right from the begging was not fit to be put in charge at the state broadcaster...for the close to four years he has been at the helm of affairs at gbc may we ask what significant change or changes has he initiated at gbc..? .the state broadcaster is still in sordid state of attention...programming and content is nothing to write home about..their studios are in just in gaudy mess.. i thought as much the moment don chebe was appointed to head gbc simply because he was at the then ghana telecom when they stayed aloof and watch helplessly and virtually gave up their market leadership to mtn...how could such a person be put in charge of gbc...
  i believe these are the critical issues employees should be concern about, making the state broadcaster very attractive and competitive in content and delivery....too much wastage at gbc...

Look at Tsatsu Tsikata, Kwame Peprah, Dan Abodakpi, Dr Sipa Yankey, Victor Selormey etc who were jailed for causing financial loss to the state. Now look at SADA, GYEEDA,ISOFOTON, WATERVILLE, WOYOME, AMERI, KARPOWER, Tamale and Kumasi airport inflated project costs, Kasoa and circle interchange inflated project costs, EMBRAER aircraft Inflated price, murder of president Atta Mills, Nayele cocaine scandal, etc. Once you join the NDC, you are likely to engage in something dubious and criminal.

  Don Chebe is not a thief or anything evil. He is a good man who is not manipulated. The Union of GBC wanted to manipulate him with getting promotions for their unionism and not for the work they have been hired for. They want to control management by being shadow directors, shadow director generals and shadow board members. When they don't get their ways they incite the work and leak false publications. Don Chebe helped Gbc and wanted to put GBC together before he left. But God will sail him through and give him better offers and punish his fabricators with evil.
