What is clear is that those students are dumb,you use your brains to reach the academic ladder but not through demonstrations,they should perform to reach that level,they can't cut corners to get what they want,demonstration to be raised to university status is dumb,it will just add up to our corrupt practices.

Why only Ho is their target,are they aware Ho Poly already awarding degrees and far ahead of their school,do we have to politicize even our academic performance?

Finally, those students should know that the same way technical schools were converted to polytechnics is what they are doing,they did not do it in one academic year and that is why Ho is far ahead of their school.

The questions are how many lecturers have the relevant academic qualifications? Even BTech degree how much prepared was C-Poly? Aren't they aware of other institutions awarding BTech degrees? To what extent is the institution transformed? They should the basics to enable the government to upgrade the institution to award degrees. I am totally against the demo. It was useless and unnecessary. Go to the basics and fix your things

The students and the management of Cape Coast Polytechnic should know that other institutions were far ahead of them. Among them includes Sunyani polytechnic, Ho polytechnic, Kumasi polytechnic, Takoradi polytechnic, Koforidua polytechnic etc. When others were busy structuring their institution to remain competitive, well marketed and network locally and internationally C-Poly community busy fighting itself. Please I suggest you spend 2016 to fix the necessary things that would make you award degrees.

Where are their brains to tell that the conversion of some polytechniks into universities were based on achievement and infrastructure and not only demos and violence.

If they want C-Poly to be considerd in the next phase of the conversion, they should learn hard, pass out with good HNDs.

I personally would be surprised if Accra Poly and T-Poly did not make because they are very good institutions.
