    It is a good move, well done to the government. Government does not provide uniforms and payment of 'allowances' for students in tertiary institutions. They may be entitled to student loans.

    When qualified teachers are being encouraged to wear uniforms, trainees are told not to wear uniforms. this is backwardness

    Am so sad about this government. Teacher training college now known as College of Education had tertiary status in 2012 and as am talking now lecturers are NOT enjoying tertiary salary. About 80% of our membership hold master ...

    No more uniforms in colleges of education! We are yet to see whether it will work or the principals and the heads of institutions disregard it as they did to the issue of 'Hijabs and the Muslim veil'.
