l think every vehicle on Ghana roads should carry some sort of identification number but why NDC branded vehicles are not? Is it because they belong to the ruling party so they are above the law?

I do not know what on earth would make you wish the death of a fellow brother on mere perception, but to tell you, God is indeed alive.

It has been proven that, the vehicles in reference here are not for the NCCE per the speculation that went rife.

If this is the news, then it is not out of place that, the vehicles rightfully belongs to the NDC, and I can tell you, it is for right reasons why the NDC as a party do not want any word of such vehicles to go public.

But how on earth do we always have to think, or move with the mindset that, whenever a party in power, or individual in power only buy because they have deep hands into national coffers. This is a wrong way of reasoning.

Even if the NPP, the opposition is investing in Tundra's for their campaigns, how on earth must anyone think a party only buys vehicles for campaign when they are in power. It sounds funny though.

Are we suggesting when the NDC was in opposition it never bought a vehicle for its campaign activities? obviously a big no. So why not now?

The better we learn to widen our thinking capacities, the best we become in our thinking...Otherwise, we are used by some malicious thinking politicians anywhere for their mission of political vendetta.

The community schools constructed, hospitals expanded, roads been constucted, Cold store facilities and schools been converted to technical, what has the president not done for the nation. Moved to the country to a different level in terms of fighting corruption and etc. Such leader is not suppose to go but must continue to brighten the country.

President Mahama has chastised the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) for not selecting a competent northerner as its flagbearer.

Citing an example of former Vice President Ahaji Aliu Mahama, President Mahama accused the NPP for paying little attention to northerners.

According to him, the NPP has shown in the past that it has very little respect for northerners and therefore cannot be trusted.

The President made the remarks in Tongo when he resumed his camping tour of the Upper East region after suspending it for three days to attend to the victims of the Melcom disaster in Accra.

He said “our brother Aliu Mahama was Vice President for 8 years. I was Vice President for 3 and half years. For almost 12 years, we have tasted Vice Presidency. It’s no longer exciting. It’s no longer what we want.”

He said if the NPP wants votes from the northern part of the country, then they should put up Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia as their flagbearer to face-off with him.

“They want to win here, they should put him in number one and let two of us contest and then they will get something from here,” the president said.

Meanwhile, President Mahama has described the defeat of the republicans in the US elections as a good omen for the ruling NDC and an indication that similar thing will be replicated in Ghana in the upcoming elections.

According to him, anytime the democrat party win an election in the US, the NDC also wins in Ghana, making reference to the 2008 elections.

He said: “In 2008 polls in the USA, Obama won by chasing the elephant into the bush and later the NDC also chased the elephant into the bush in Ghana, and just this week, Obama has again chased the elephant into the bush, which will be replicated in Ghana in December.”

He said the performance of the NDC government in the last four years is enough evidence to encourage more Ghanaians to vote massively for the party in the forthcoming elections.

President Mahama said inspite of the increase in wage bills as a result of the implementation of the single spine salary structure, government is still economically solid to execute more development projects in the phase two of the Better Ghana Agenda.

You see, this deliberate attempt by the surrogates of the NPP like you, to denigrate the personality of our dearly respected president would not hold water.

This is a President who is concerned with investing in the future of our children by investing heavily into the education sector.

Unless you are not aware, or have refused to be, but the truth is that, in the history of Ghana, President Mahama is only second to Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in terms of infrastructure development.

He has within a period of three years, i mean just three years; invested into our health care massively. The Ridge hospital project, the New University of Ghana Medical school, the newly commissioned Shai Osu doku district hospital and host of other projects by the increases and is endearing majority of the President to many a Ghanaian.

I can bet my last pesewa that the NPP will not have less than 100 vehicles (perhaps mre expensive than the Indian made Mahindras) crss-crossing the country. It thus always happens. If they can buy expensive Nissan and Toyota pick-ups, why can't the other parties, and for that matter the ruling NDC also afford to buy vehicles for their campaigns? As for the so called hidden numbers, it is laughable. Vehicles meant for campaigns have over the years been registered at the various regions where they are to operate. Check the old campaign vehicles and you will realize that this has always been the case, so if they are being sent to the regions you don't expect them to have been numbered. Yakagbemei!!! Nation wrechers!!!
