To qualify as 'witch or wizard' one has to be mostly an old neglected person, who has nobody caring for them in their old age. The stress of having to achieve the needed daily food, clothing or shelter ( Maslow Hierachy of Human needs) . In a nut shell a neglected old person and vulnerable is a 'witch or wizard '. Instead of the family of such persons if known be shamed in publis. Mothers are worth more than anything on this earth. To gave us protection, food, comfort and many more. Therefore every woman MUST be accorded the utmost respect.

  It gets on my nerves when ever l read article where uncouffed journalist describe persons suffering mental disorders , destitute , homeless person, both children and adults, children in care homes. Generally the vulnerable in our society as IMATES . It makes me wonder if the author has attended a classroom, and if they have a dictionary. IMATES are persons held in a confined areas such as prison or hospital. Even those in hospital for the sake of dignity are world wild called patients. Please avoid stigmatisation of these vulnerable people, that could be a great contribution to accepting and respecting vulnerable persons in institutions

  That way you won’t find that your readers have their attention unnecessarily distracted through stumbling over misspelt words such as ‘whenever’, ‘uncouth’, ‘worldwide’ and ‘inmates’.

  Here in the US, we call single women over the age of 69...SENIOR COUGARS! We younger men ages 30,40,50 and 60 chase such women for long-term lovers.
  Guilty am I, my senior Cougar was a age 85 when I met her. I was 58 and fell hard for her. We move into one place together 1 or 2 months after courting. Stayed together till she passed at age 91. She had no family, no friends when I met her. She was ready to die...lonely. I brought life back to her and enjoyed every single second with her. My Queen, was she, my Gift from God. A sweet Soul, always loved everyone, a very good-hearted human being was she.
  In her golden years her blood-lined missed out. I felt like a thief, stealing their joy because of their closed-minds.
  
  I thank God Almighty!WOMAN is man's
  EVERYTHING...appreciate and respect deeply.
  
  I'll visit that camp this year, out of the US, as I know there is a senior Cougar in waiting. My next Gift from God.I'm coming.

  Shame on those who continue to refer to these women as "witches". These women are abused women and should be labeled as such. Those camps should be known as "Abused Womens' Camps".
  
  ignorance continues to plague Ghanaian society, resulting in the continued false belief that witches do indeed exist. For these ignorant ones, any demise that befalls their loved ones must be caused by "witches", and these very often are elderly women. Ever heard of any "Wizards Camp"? Heck no. Why can't so-called intelligent people in society ask themselves why men are not included in this unfortunate trap of witch craft,? Instead of placing these abused women in camps, the government should embark on a serious public education program to provide proper information that will eventually dispel these myths about "witches". Continuing to place these abused women in camps and referring to them as witches only helps to prolong the false belief and the unending stigmatization of certain women within Ghanaian society.
  
  Why should the government be responsible for providing educational information to combat this menace? Simple. The chiefs in those areas cannot be counted on to be of any help because these chiefs are part of the problem.
