Bawumia Knows Something About Roko Frimpong’s Murder?

A firebrand communicator for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has alleged that the running mate to the New Patriotic Party’s Nana Akufo-Addo, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia and other powerful individuals in the erstwhile NPP government could be linked to the death of the late Deputy Managing Director – Operation of the Ghana Commercial Bank, Roko Frimpong.
Paapa Bissiw, direct relative of the deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture- Dr Hannah Bissiw made this exposition last Friday on Prime Edition, a sociopolitical talkshow on Prime 89.1 FM in Accra.
He told the host, Onua Kojo Nkansah and the station’s teeming listeners that, preliminary investigations conducted into the murder has linked Bawumia and Co. to it.
He further hinted that Roko’s open disapproval of the well orchestrated roguery by Dr. Bawumia and those powerful leaders during the implementation of the infamous re-denomination of the Cedi is suspected to be the motivation behind his murder.
It will be recalled that the late Roko Frimpong was mysteriously murdered in his residence in 2007 by unknown assailants.
He also questioned how some 10 or more bank officials died in that same year in a plane crash in Nigeria around that same period.

This is really sad. I am an Ashanti but my room mate at Akuaffo Hall at Legon for three years was a northerner and we were more than brothers.
No wherein Ghana do we have all tribes having their Chiefs participating in the affairs of the internal matters of the region than Ashanti region.
In London for the past 25 years my close friends have been northerners and we eat together and do things in common. Some of them have different political inclinations but we are not at loggerheads.
Why should Ghanaians sit down and allow a buffoon like Asiedu Nketiah to plunge this country into a hate society?
We call on the so called Peace Council to rise up and condemn this outrageous utterances which can cause a mayhem in the country.
I call on all Ghanaweb followers to stand up and fight against this tribalistic utterances from Asiedu Nketiah.

What he does not know is that the NPP is the Offspring of Dombo-Busia and Daquah political Alliance. This is history. Second in the NPP, people contest for the Leadership of the Party and it is not like the NDC which suppresses competition in the selection of its Leadership. NPP shall not waiste its time at the moment to discuss the next Leader of the NPP but rather use its energy to get NDC and Mahama dismissed from Office.Therefore all the Asiedu Nketia is propagating is to divert the attention of Ghanaians from the main problems facing the country. NDC has no answers to these problems, since it has destroyed the country after occupying the Government for over 28 years with 8 years under Mahama.
