At times, we forget the pledge we make to voters when we see the goodies coming in from all angles. That will be a huge and unpardonable mistake. NDC did the same and have lost the election sending most of their supporters in shock.
Nana, as you have said, we should all wait for the body that supervise elections in Ghana to announce the winner then the jubilation will begin.

Yet the people cannot make decisions about general elections of the nation within 24 hours with less population of voters compared to a nation such as the United States. Shame that all the billions of dollars of foreign loans the nation continuously borrow and it still cannot have a modern machinery or technology to conduct quick, swift, efficient and responsive elections.Even United States with a huge voter population can announce a presidential winner in 24 hours. I think Ghana has a long way to go in terms of modern development.Ghana is so behind many many nations in race for technological advancement. In other words the chairperson is picked by the govt in power?Isn't that a recipe for favoritism or to hijack an election for a purpose? Or isnt that a disaster for a nation that is still struggling for a freedom and democratic system? What type of constitution Ghana has? I think the EC commision or agency of every civilized nation should be a non-partisan one and should be a place where we can have public employees like Administrators to manage its affairs. To avoid future election disputes this office should be separated from the ruling govt and made independent agency.
