The boy is supposed to be in school but he's not and why?If there are no schools built, school feeding stopped, no school uniform who do you blame when government takes my taxes to build more schools, feed the kids and in some cases give them uniforms? Should the boy be wandering about because the grandmother cannot afford taking care of him? Think twice before commenting.

Everything is" sad oooo"to Ghanaians.This story doesn't make me sad but angry.I am angry at the two irresponsible adults-grandmother and Father who are failing the child.I will first of all will like to know where the boy's mother is.Who has primary responsibility to take care of the child.If the mother, father and grandmother do not want the child then the state must step in and cater for him until he is adopted or reaches adulthood.We must start cracking down on adults who neglect their responsibility to properly raise children in their care

How fair it is for a man to mary 2 3 4 or even 5 women, they work hard in the cocoa plantation for years, but have no share in the farm. He can kick them out with their children and that is the end of story.
The point is that we have no laws to protect our women and children. No progress for a country that does not put the interest of women and children first.

If the father is found, he should be punished. Some men should be sterilized because of irresponsibility. Some men think having sex is the end of it all without given a second thought about the responsibility that comes with it.

This is why the gov't has put in place many preventive social welfare programs such as the LEAP, NHIS, FCUBE, etc to prevent abandonment. The questions is whether these programs are preventive enough
