  Looking at the scale of offences and their gravity as to the fleet of vehicles on our roads we should be able to generate more. I live in a small country of 5 million with little offences but annually generates on average 300mill Euros. If we put things in place we can generate average of 700mill Euros from reckless drivers and other road offences.

  what are the transparent logistics to measure over speeding in this country ?
  do they mean somebody is driving without a drivers license or without driving license ?
  eg if somebody possess a driving license,and forget it at home, if we have a mechanisms to know who had it and who dont had it at the appropriate office, we could confirmed it that the police are saying the trueth.
  we are in this country where any corrupt police man can seize your driving license and charge U of driving without license because you failed to give them bribes.
  the most annoying part of this is the court, lazy judges and magistrate with their guilty or not guilty nonsense, go to the prisons and verify it yourself those who pleaded not guilty , remanded and the case had not been called again -they are rotten in the cells.
  the court had helped the police to be more corrupt, because motorist fear of putting in jail even if s/he is innocent, they just admit the liars from the police to pay unduly fines just to have their peace. are we building a democratic and sound society ? with this type of impunity?
  IF the government is serious and want to be respected, there must be transparency in this police checks and their altitudes , there must be a complaint unit outside the police system to deal with the police ,if an investigation proofs a complainant right had been abused , there must be a routine checks on the police as to who is doing a good job and who is doing a bad job to be sacked not to be transfer
  
  there must be a penalty book book at every vehicle to verify the amount asked to pay if indeed the motorist is at fault.
  
  there must be a prescribed police officer for these tasks not the likes of city guards who would also delay you and spoiled your day because u refused to pay bribe.
  everything in this country is to cheat and gain for yourself

  Ask yourself, if all the money collected at barriers and police controls would end up in government coffers instead of in police, deep, pockets how much more that will be.
  Often a chargeable offense of several hundred of cedis is bought off by a few cedis. really charging them would enormously improve traffic safety and implementation of safety rules and increase an income for the government that could close our budget deficit completely.
