Child prostitution is on the rise with no job and parent on minimal wages what do you expect. Until Ghana start introducing child benefits to help families young girls in families will by all means turn into prostitution not by their choice but a necessity to survive. It is base upon these facts that I am pleading with you as the Minister of Gender and Social affairs to act on this info and transform lives. Thank you. Never insult these girls but help them. Our current President is fully aware of how child benefit started in the U.K so please apply the same principles to help these girls going into prostitution. To date MP's are inflating projects cost and looting state funds for their own personal gains in buying 4 by 4 when vulnerable girls are not paid benefits to sustain into finding meaning work and vocation but prostitution.

This is all lies. Child population is very very high in these areas mentioned. You may see all these kids roaming round in these neighbourhoods but they are not prostitutes. If you make a mistake to solicit them for sex, you will be beaten seriously.
This is a propaganda by the Gender authorities to solicit for funds from the UN and donor organizations.
Can the authorities show pictures of these small girls in bars with men.
So 20 child prostitutes all go into the same class room to write BECE exams.
How did acquire a database on these girls? Did these kids tell them they were prostitutes?
I have lived in Cape Coast for 35 years and I never saw these kids asking clients for money in exchange for sex.
I am advising friends using Ghanaweb to avoid these areas when they come to Cape Coast looking for sex. These are kids of the fisher-folks. Criminals are rampant in these areas mentioned. Avoid these areas.
At least these girls did not go to Accra to do Kayayo like Otiko Djaba's cousins are doing in Accra.
Give good education and healthcare to them and you will see them as future lawyers and doctors.
