  Sadly, the liars fooled us and now we regretting:
  1) DKM victims have been left to their fate,
  2) Nurse/Teacher trainees never getting the promised allowa;
  3) parents will weep blood come September when the Free SHS will elude them!
  4) NPP said electricity bills were higher than rent, but they have increased the tariffs massively
  5) etc etc

  is defilement an offense punishable by law? what happens to men who shamelessly have sex with teenagers to the point of impregnating them? the solution lies in punishing men who pedophile the teenagers but who's responsible for reporting and prosecuting such men? well,i think the law should demand that parents, teachers and health workers report teenage pregnancies to Dovsu for prosecution or be charged with concealment and aiding of crime.

  It is really our own restrictions that has created teenage pregnancy. How long can you postpone drinking eater when thirsty, eating when hungry, sleeping when feeling sleepy, going to poo when you feel like it, or going to pee when feeling like. We want our girls to postpone sex for how long? From 13 till 28 years? We ought to acccept the reality and protect them with contraceptive or marry them early. Some US states allow sexual intercourse from 12 years. Marry early, use longterm contraceptive, go to school and if pregnant in school be happy and continue!

  I totally agree with your first point of using contraceptives but marrying them early is not the solution. We should introduce sex education as early as at the age of 9 and build upon it as they grow. But how can we do that, when the teachers who are suppose to be role models and teaching these girls are rather experimenting with them? We should also give them the protection and stop restricting them. Even though poverty plays a bigger role, parents should also get involve and teach their girls sex education. I guess it is high time we stop seeing sex as a taboo topic but accept it as part of life.
  This number is only from central region, what will happen if we take the whole Ghana? Mothers wake up and teach your daughters!!!
