Don't come and ignorantly tell me the professors do cut and paste bcos there is no way one can publish an article in a top notch journal by doing cut and paste. This is bcos the article will vigorously go through plagiarism checks before it's published. Just Google the name of any professor u know and read their articles.

They go on sabbatical leave and spend the funds on themselves. These are the consequences of foolishness of these professors. The development of Ghana is on hold due to such irresponsible professors.
A professor to continue to keep tenure is required to publish articles to show is academia ability. No one is holding these professors accountable.

Dr. Harry Agbanu told Joy News Tuesday tertiary institutions have the mandate to provide holistic training for the graduates. He said he found the President’s comment injudicious since it is the duty of government to create the congenial environment for the graduates to secure a job and not the universities.
You see, it is true that the government needs to provide tools and logistics for learning and teaching but it has to be done on request. Government cannot impose its will on universities. Take for instance the current IMF policy which requires that universities should seek clearance from government before they employ. It will amaze you that all the lists sent to government are lists requesting for lecturers and not technologists/technicians who will impart the practical know-how into the students. In such a situation what do you expect the government to do?

These same professors go on sabbatical leave and spend the funds on the themselves. What do you say about that? In the realm of the problems facing Ghana, the professors are partially to be blamed.
