Purification? What is this, Lord Jesus?? What is not pure about this amphibian/reptile wandering away from a river to a neighborhood where it can probably find food? All the rivers in Ghana have been destroyed by galamsey. Would you live there if you were an alligator? Has anyone thought of finding why and how the alligator got there, instead of going to slaughter an innocent goat/sheep for the poor alligator? Pleeaaase, wake up Ghana!!!

It is not a mystery as being projected. Alligators can even live around water tanks or gutters.
I have one around my water tank occasionally it comes down and run around and sometimes scare children around.

This is omampam or monitor lizard! It is no alligator! I have several of them in my area at South Legon in Accra and there is no river nearby. They don't bite, they just attack any intruder with the tail and sack chickens for their eggs. There is no need for any pacification. Just sack it to the nearest bush. I see them in my neighbourhood on daily basis!
