Members of the pro governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Vigilante Group, Invisible Forces, in the Asutifi North District of the Brong Ahafo District have vowed to deal ruthlessly with the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Joseph Daha if he dares step in the constituency without honouring his promise to them.

According to them, the MP during the electioneering campaign ahead of the 2016 general elections promised five of them he’ll buy motorbikes for them as reward for their hardwork in providing security for the party.

They claim the Legislator is yet to make good his promise and even though they’ve reminded him on several occasions.

Speaking to Kasapa News, the Commander of the Invisible Forces, Kweku Prince who said the MP had taken them for granted, stated that they’re fed up waiting endlessly for the reward and have decided to teach the latter a bitter lesson.

“There were 36 of us who worked hard and provided security for the party, along the line some of the members stopped the work after their family members impressed upon them because they feared they’ll be attacked and killed by Naaba, the dreaded brother of Hon. Collins Dauda. We soldiered on and went into certain no-go areas in the constituency and managed to do our work effectively culminating in the NPP’s victory.

“The MP promised the five of us who were left and did the work till the end of the campaign that he’ll buy for us Azonto Motors, but he has not honoured his promise more than a year after the elections. If he’s able to bring the motorbikes, we’ll not have any issues with him, but if he fails and comes to the area, he’ll have himself as we’ll deal with him.”
