One person is battling for his life while two others have sustained varying degrees of injury after two motorbikes collided at Akrampa junction on the Kasoa-Winneba highway in the Central Region.
An eye witness named Blessed, in an interview with Kasapa FM News Yaw Boagyan narrated that one motorbike rider Isaac Donkor was from Akrampa joining the highway and the other James Amenyor also branching and suddenly resulted in the two riders crashing.
He said the three accident victims were immediately rushed to Awutu Braku Health Center, for treatment.
Meanwhile, the Health Center lacks nurses and materials for the effective delivery of healthcare.
The residents have appealed to the government to equip the health center with the needed staffing and the required materials to enable them to dispense quality healthcare.
