The residents of Otoase in the Eastern Region have appealed to non-governmental organisations and benevolent groups to assist them renovate their houses that were destroyed by a rainstorm at the weekend.
Apostle Daniel Atiko, the Pastor of the Christ Glorious International Church branch at Otoase, near Coaltar in the Ayensuano District made the appeal after taking the Ghana News Agency round to inspect some of the damaged buildings.
He said the rainstorm damaged many buildings including; the mission house of the church and rendered many residents homeless.
Apostle Atiko said the affected persons were now staying with friends and relatives, while others were under makeshift sheds in the area, hence their plea for urgent relief to avert further sufferings.
