Before that there were many different contradictory writings on scraps of paper by different unknown authors until some people decided to choose among these books and make them into the New Testament and discard other writings that didn't conform to their own theology and which they branded as heretical. Then the New Testament was copied by hand over 1000 years before the printing press was invented. The scribes doing the copying made tons of mistakes. Some of them intentionally changed words and sentences to suit their own theologies.
What we regard today as the bible is completely different from what the originals were. There are no original writings left today - just copies of copies of copies of copies. With lots of mistakes. This book, that is full of contradictions and written by people many of whom wrote anonymously or pseudonymously, is what some people today call the inerrant word of God.
The Bible is neither the word of God, nor innerant. It is not even written by people inspired by God. The Bible is a completely human artifact written by people under specific circumstances for specific reasons and purposes and for people who lived thousands of years ago under completely different conditions than we live in today. The bible cannot guide our actions today. We know far better than those who wrote it because we are the beneficiaries of the accumulated knowledge of the human race.
NB: all the above apply, in equal measure, to the Quran too which nobody has ever been able to prove is the word of God simply because such a claim can NEVER be proven or disproven.

"And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time" (Daniel 7:25).
"And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard (Rome), and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon (the devil) gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority" (Revelation 13:2).
The long history of the pomp and pride of pagan Rome and papal Rome can only be compared to the Jewish religious services before the Babylonian captivity.
"Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these." (Jeremiah 7:4).
"Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men" (Mark 7:7).
It must be remembered that God does not judge by outward appearances, nor does he choose men because of their capabilities.
"...but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word" (Isaiah 66:2).
I believe Bishop George Ofori-Nyadu has spoken well. I think the condemnations poured out on the prophet were quick and sharply-inconsiderate. Let us test the truth of the prophecy in prayer.
ASK ALL-NATIONS WHY THEIR PASTORS DONT HAVE PENSION CONTRIBUTIONS REGISTRERD. WHY THE BISHOPS CHILDREN ENGAGE IN EXPENSIVE HOTELS.
