Unseasoned men of God are major cause of Ghana's suffering issues especially those in Christendom. For some reasons they inadvertently do not preach to listeners that 90% of things of God are common sense. These preachers after applying common sense to make money out of the poor congregants in the name of God don't teach them they need the same common sense to make living.

Anytime I listen to lots of these gospel preachers I get the impression that God would do everything for humans without the latter having the most important part to play. I can remember Jesus said "who would build a house without counting the cost"? I see a big cost here where preachers tell us to depend on God so much to the extent of not examining if that dependency must actually work without necessarily use our mind. Many Ghanaian Christians are refusing to use their brains just because they must depend on God.

Also, in depending on God Christians paradoxically listen too much to pastors than God Himself by painstaking of searching scriptures themselves to confirm the context the bible speaks and preachers speak.

In conclusion, I would say let's just allow ourselves the simple freedom of common sense than those religious creed and dogmas we hear from our pulpits today. The cost to these religious stupitiy is our inability to think through issues with our own brains God gave. If brains don't play the human game God would not give us.

As a Christian, I have never believed that Gods power ALONE is enough to solve our problems if we just spend 24 hours a day praying without doing anything pragmatic to help ourselves.
