The death of a loved one certainly reminds us of our own mortality. We realize then our own powerlessness to fight off death, had we been in the place of the deceased! But is death a bad thing? Maybe it is, if we look outside the Bible for answers! Nobody has ever come back from the dead to tell us what death is like. Fear still controls our thoughts when we think about death, but Jesus did return from the grave.

"To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God." Acts 1:3.

What does man need in his life to fight the reign of death-- from Adam to our present age? (Jesus Christ)

"Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood (humanity), he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage." Hebrews 2:14-15.

It is the sin of Adam and Eve which introduced our world to sin and death (Genesis 2:17,3:6)

Where from this sudden solidarity with the Palestinians to the neglect of other suffering Muslims all over the world from Syria,Somalia,Iraq,Yemen,and even Nigeria. In the Syrian conflict alone, more Muslims have died in one day than the total number of Palestinians killed by the Israelis. Yet it seems that the condemnation of Muslim on Muslim violence is almost zero while that of Muslims killed by Kaffirs('infidels')or Israelis is fashionable.

Now if you see that Hamas has no right to fight then you are not being realistic!!! Israel suffered also. And as for Israel they thought the Palestinians couldn't harm them anyway. Please stop all these radical religious sentiments. Ghana is a peaceful country, and we like it to remain so. We don't like what is happening in Gaza, and we are appalled by the violence in Syria and Northern Iraq by ISIS. We can only pray for peace and understanding to prevail in that region. These are international concerns that are being dealt with at the UN Security Council, and by the governments of the states where these events are happening. We don't want to be drawn into any of these, and we don't want the radical sentiments expressed here to grow into any radical movements in Ghana. Neither do we want any new radical movements to support the Shiites, the Sunnis, or ISIS. We are happy with the co-existence between Christians and Moslems as we have now in Ghana. Please don't start any radicalisation in Ghana.
