JB, I agree with you on this because Jesus never ever referred to himself as the Almighty God or even equates himself to the father. He always refers to him as my father. He himself even said he does not know the time of judgement day but only his father (Matthew 24:36). Christianity came out of Judaism which forbids the worship of a person as a form of idolatry, since the central belief of Judaism is the absolute unity and singularity of God.
If Jesus has same power as the Almighty God, he would not have told his disciples after resurrection that all things in heaven, on earth have been given to me. Matthew 11:27
This confusion stems from the council of Nicea in AD 321(proponents of Trinity).
Just think about it.
There are 28 bible references that clearly indicate that there is only one God no know one besides him

He attained Godliness with the help of the Holy Spirit .The Holy Spirit can enter int any thing and use the vocal organs to speak as It did with the donkey. The donkey did not become God. Whatever Jesus did can be done by anybody as confirmed by Jesus in the Scriptures.We create gods by putting spirit into them and it has worked to some extent.Go back to the Ten Commandments which we seem to ignore now. Other powerful entities were born on the 25th of December but not Jesus and yet we superimpose the date on Jesus. We have to be careful not to offend the Creator God by our lack of knowledge. The Holy Spirit has always been present as the Spirit of God and nothing of flesh and blood can be God who is crying at the point of death to his Father God. Be careful for misleading the world. When Jesus answered, ''I am '', the High Priest concluded that there was no need for any further evidence. The High Priest's verdict was that Jesus had committed blasphemy and must die. Jesus was thus finally crucified. The Deputy Ambassador is only supporting the High Priest in concluding that Jesus committed blasphemy in claiming that He is the Messiah. It is surprising that the Deputy Ambassador would accept such a blasphemer as a prophet of God.
In spite of thevdesbelief in Jesus' Status as the Messiah, the evidence that the grave could not hold Him cannot be denied. He rose from the dead and ascended to heaven and today, His grave continues to be empty. Nevertheless, it is not difficult to understand why some Israelis would not understand that Jesus is the Messiah. When the prophets of old foretold the coming of the Messiah, they spoke of Him as both a humble Lamb of God to be sacrificed for the sins of the world; and the Lion of Judah, a mighty ruler to conquer his foes. Israel being surrounded by enemies like bees who keep on harassing them day after day, the promise of the mighty ruler Messiah is more appealing. However lacking understanding for the ways of God, most nationalistic minded Israelis fail to appreciate that the Messiah must first come as the Lamb of God before He returns as the all-conquering Messiah. Indeed Jesus, the only Messiah will come again for those who are prepared for Him.

Easter used to be held in the month of Nisan the Jewish month. Early Christians had to rely on Jews to calculate the period of the Passover which coincides with the period Jesus suffered and died. But sometimes the Jews will deliberately delay in the calculation. Hence Christians at the Council of Nicea Choose this period to celebrate easter. It is not fixed because they always want to fall on Fridays and Saturdays and Sundays but not on any other day since a fixed date can make easter fall on even wednesday

let me make it clear that the true savior of the black african is the combined effect of discipline, hardwork, technology and a spiritual free mind. we certainly can't go to heaven leaving behind the smelling choked gutters, muddy huts we call houses and the criminally greedy mindset. God won't allow us in heaven until we prove to Him we can take good care of it like developed countries have taken care of their environments..

my grandpa used to tell us there's God who wants us behave well, do good and will punish bad people. the name of God in my local language is specific and refers to only the God of heavens , all other deities have their specific names so i know what my grandpa meant was the True God. today am okay with that system of my grandpa's belief, he never knew of jesus or mohammed or buddha... and he always told us God will help our efforts, never did he ever say we shall receive a miracle for free.

Today look at Ghana, a country with 70% christians and over 15% moslems, we shit in our rooms and throw it on the streets, we taken church services as work, doing it every minute, making noise on hard working people who wants to sleep a bit and then run to atheistic chinese, and germans or even gayism-embraced UK and US for help.

just look on the streets of every town in ghana and all u see are kids selling around or head portering, dirty environment, unplaned muddy buildings, noise everywhere in the name of preaching.

heaven and hell are no where to go, they exist on this earth. the fact that u queue 24hrs at the US or UK embassies with your pastors praying and fasting for your visa should tell you that those countries are heaven , on the other hand, the fact that you sleep in mosquitoes invaded structures, go hungry whole day and begin to beg around should tell you what hell is..

if you're scared of going to hell or not going to heaven after death then just stop and ask yourself where you were before being born by your mother!
