Ghana striker Bernard Arthur has disclosed reasons which made him to sign for Tanzanian champions Azam United.
Arthur was the best player in a struggling Liberty Professionals team which only survived relegation on the final day of the 2016/2017 season.
The exploits of the burly striker made Tanzanian giants Azam FC to make an offer for him though several club in and outside Ghana were also after his signature.
“I choose Azam FC because the offer was good and there are four Ghanaian players in the team and it will help me to adopt easily”Arthur told Oman FM
“I am looking forward to start my career with them and help the club retain the league title as far as go far in the CAF Champions League,”
Arthur returned to Ghana earlier this week after signing the deal with Azam but will move again finally on Sunday.
