Jose Mourinho explained last week why Abdul Baba Rahman had not featured in a Premier League game since arriving at Chelsea. The Portuguese manager said the Ghana international was just not ready.
Baba Rahman had made his debut in the UEFA Champions League prior to Jose Mourinho’s comment and played in the English League Cup post the assessment from his manager.
On Saturday, the Chelsea boss stuck by his ‘not ready’ comments leaving the former Kotoko and Augsburg player out of the Chelsea squad that travelled to play Newcastle in the English Premier League.
The Ghanaian would have to work his way into the Chelsea squad as he is yet to make a Premier League debut.
