Ghana would come up against Botswana in one of the two semi-final matches of the Sasol Eight Nations tournament on Tuesday.
The Black Satellites who came second in Group B made it to the last four after they edged out Egypt to qualify for the semi's with four points and a superior goal difference.
Botswana, unbeaten in the tournament have been in fine form at the eight-nation competition after topping Group A which included host nation, South Africa.
Ghana coach, Sulley Mohammed before the start of the competition had hoped for a place in the last four but would now need to guide his Black Satellites past Botswana to secure a place in Thursday's final.
Group A runners-up, Cameroon, entertain Lesotho for a place in Thursday's final.
