Black Stars head Coach Avram Grant says having talent alone will not be enough to get you into his Black Stars side.
The 60-year-old Israeli has been watching the Ghana Premier League games after returning to the country from the United Kingdom.
Grant who took over as head Coach of the Black Stars in 2014 led the team to a second place finish in Equatorial Guinea despite being in charge for a few weeks, his current side is on track to securing qualification to next year’s AFCON competition to be staged in Gabon.
With calls for Avram Grant to include more home based players into the national team, the gaffer admits the nation is full of talents but that was not the only criteria to getting a national call up.
“The Ghana national team has very good players with a lot of talent. We must remember always that talent is not enough—to maximise that talent is my job. “ Grant is quoted by FIFA.com
