The spokesman for the FIFA normalization committee Dan Kwaku Yeboah has disclosed Ghana has nothing to lose should FIFA refused to lift the suspension on Sierra Leone.
“We have nothing to lose should Sierra Leone forfeit the game against the Black Stars.” Dan Kwaku Yeboah told Silver FM on Tuesday afternoon.
“That is why we have not stopped preparing for the game. Even if it is finally cancelled FIFA will have to refund us the cost of our assembly for this the game,” he explained.
“Obviously there are laws and FIFA will utilize that in any case but we are training” he added.
Ghana will be awarded an automatic 3-0 win in the even Sierra Leone football federation fail to overturn the FIFA suspension against it.
The suspension of the Leone Stars means Group F currently has three teams namely Ghana the group leaders, Kenya and Ethiopia.
