The Head Coach of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has indicated that the club has agreed to put in place all necessary measures to make an impact on the African continent in the coming football season.

Kotoko is set to represent Ghana for the third consecutive time in the Confederation of African Football’s Champions League in 2015.

The three previous outings of the Ghana champions have been short of impressive for their fans, the latest being a preliminary round exit to Liberia’s Barrack Young Controllers (BYC) earlier this year.

Mas-Ud Dramani, a former coach of the national U-17 women’s team, hinted that the club is in negotiations with some players in order to beef up the Porcupine Warriors' squad ahead of its 2015 continental campaign.

“We need to do well in Africa,” he said on TV3’s Inside Sports on Wednesday, July 9. “We need to break into Africa. We will make an impact and making an impact is a holistic issue.”

Coach Dramani revealed that he already submitted a technical report to the management of the club as regards the way forward.

“When things are put in place very well, Kotoko should do well especially in Africa,” he said, adding that the club will also take the domestic league seriously.
