Ghana international Abdul Majeed Waris is set to join French Ligue 1 side Nantes on loan from FC Porto.
Waris signed a four-year deal with the Dragons this window but he has to move out on loan as manager Sergio Conceicao has not included him in his squad for the coming season.
Several clubs including St. Etiene and Turkish outfit Bursaspor have showed interest in him but footballmadeinghana.com understands that the former Lorient striker will join Nantes since Manager Miguel Cardoso has already pledged to grant him enough playing time.
Waris was a pale shadow of himself last season when he joined Porto on loan in January making only five appearances and failing to score.
The 26-year-old attacker is expected to use the loan deal hit top form again.
