Senegalese Coach to seek assistance from Ghana

Coach Salam Lian, head coach of the Tarenga Lioness, has said he would seek assistance from the technical handlers of the Black Queens on how they managed to bring the girls together to play so cohesively.

The coach who was full of praise for the Black Queens in their performance against his side which they beat home and away said his country would through the football Associations of the two countries work together for the Senegalese to learn more from Ghana as far as women football is concern.

He said his team is already learning from the Queens saying " we improve our play every time we engage them and we are steadily improving."

' The Ghanaian team is a great side and having been able to at least put a goal in their net in Kumasi showed that the Lioness have learned something from the Queens during the first encounter.' he said. Coach Lian said Senegal would soon organise a number of invitational competitions, especially for the Lioness, to gradually expose the players.

The coach who watched his side bowed 3-0 and 3-1 to the Queens both home and away told GNA Sports that though the Lioness lost heavily to the Ghanaians he was content with the way his side played in Kumasi last Saturday having been able to "put the ball in the net of the Queens for once."

He expressed the hope that the Queens would glitter in Nigeria next month during the women version of the African Cup of Nations. The Lioness flew back home last Wednesday.
