How does one get a track record and by which track record should a coach be judged by to say they can successfully lead a team? The qualification series exist for a reason. To get the best in football on a world stage...players, officials, coaches etc etc at the national level. Otto has done that. Was Chis Houghton able to with all his exposure able?

The BS no show at Afcon can hardly be blamed on coaching... BS had a gome game that they were not sure which grounds they were going to play on. Ghana not able to provide a befitting pitch for a game at a drop of a hat should tell anybody the state of minds of the squad at the time. Fit and able to qualify means fit and able to represent. The culture of the BS suits Otto, having been born of that culture. If anybody has the history that suits the harmony and culture of the present BS, it is Otto. A local lad with foreign experience, qualification exposure as a player and coach.

And also study well his players and see who fit where, he has only become roaming ambassador.

For example, since he took the team a player like Alidu has continuously been flopping yet he continue to use him in the same way.
