Why did fabu sold all their best strikers like Eric Bekoe and Mohammed Yahaya and so on, and then turn around and wail about their dearth of striking prowess?
Is the management going to contact these South African offloaded guys during the January transfer window? Nimble quality or agility is sometimes what makes all the difference in a team's recruitment strategy. Remember, perception can be reality in management or politics. Let's retool the offence better during this transfer window.
Where's Yakubu Mohammed and co when one needs cogent attackers for the continental tournament series?
Kotoko Must retool and reload for a more fierce second half glo premier league. Time for massive recruitment to boost Kotoko's offensive machinery during this January transfer window 2013.

WITH THE EXCEPTION OF CLOTTEY, WHERE WERE THESE 2 WHEN ZAMALEK WALLOPED CHELSEA 5NIL? RAHIM AYEW HAS PREVIOUS AFCON EXPERIENCE. HE IS A KPEY, UTILITY PLAYER. HE CAN PLAY THE WING AND THELEFT BACK. WHERE IS HE? WHERE IS DAVID ADDY OH LORD...MPONG IS EVEN A BETTER WINGER THAN ASANTE IN MY OPINION... ITS GOOD TO HAVE LOCAL PLAYERS WHEN WE PLAY IN AFCON TOURNAMNTS, BUT THEY HAVE HAVE TO BE THE BEST PLAYERS.IN MY OPINION I THINK THERE R BETTER PREMIER WINGERS N LEFTBACKS AVAILABLE.

OUR BIG CLUBS CANT KEEP PLAYERS TOGETHER FOR MORE THAN 1 SEASON, WHY? CLUBS IN GH MJUST BE FORCED TO KEEP ALL LOCAL PLAYERS FOR A MINIMUM OF 3 YRS BEFORE THEY R ELIGIBLE FOR SALE OUTSIDE GH. THE RAPID TRANSFER OF OUR PLAYERS IS HURTING THE IMAGE OF GH, THE GH PLAYERS. THE BEST CLUBS IN WORLD...MAN U, BARCELONA, CHELSEA, REAL MADRID, BAYERN MUNICH ETC ALL KEEP THEIR BEST PLAYERS FOR AT LEAST 3 YRS. MAKE SURE THEY USE THEM TO WIN NATIONAL TROPHIES, CHAMPS LEAGUE...WHILES BUILDING THE SALE TAG OF THE PLAYERS. WHY THE RUSH?
LOOK AT ALL THE PLAYERS WHO HAVE RUSHED OUT OF GH IN SEARCH OF THEIR SO CALLED GREENER PASTURES? WAT HAPPENED TO THEM? ITS VERY SAD....THESE 2PLAYERS SHOULD COME BACK TO EDUBIASE N HELP THEM WIN THE LOCAL LEAGUE. HELP EDUBOASE GO TO THE CHAMPS LEAGUE N PUT ON A GOOD EFFORT AND REP GH SOCCER VERY WELL. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME A GH CLUB WON A CHAMPS LEAGUE? THE MORE CLUBS WE HAVE EXCELLING IN THE CHAMPS LEAGUE, THE BETTER OUR CHAN AND GBSTAR TEAMS WILL BE. IF THE PLAYERS ARE SEASONED BEFORE THEY GO OVERSEAS, THEY WILL BE RIPE AND HARDENED SKILLWISE. THESE 2 PLAYERS HAVNT SEEN ANY REAL CHALLENGE BEFORE THEY WENT TO SOUTH AFRICA. LOOK AT WHAT HAPPND? NYANTAKYI IS A FOOL. PARENT THE LEAGUE WELL N STOP ACTING LIKE A MONKEY

Two of Ghana's best football league l players were invited to a pre-contract trial with a South African football league team, but would not be taken on by the SA team for various reasons. So they are "GHANA FLOPS"! The Ghana Goal King and the Ghana Player of the Year cannot be flops over night? I don't know what standards Sundowns have, but when one day they happen to meet Baffour or Abubakar on the opposite side during an important football competition, they and the writer of this article will understand the truth of the matter! The boys should come back home to Ghana and continue to play and gain experience because time is on their side for themselves and for the Black Stars. At worst, they are Ghana talents and rising stars, and never flops!

The notion that a player rated as the best on the local scene is ripe for international action is misguided. This is because our league is sub-standard and cannot be compared with European leagues.
For instance rating the goal king in the local league ahead of the goal king in the Swedish league or above a striker who reqularly plays for Marseilles in France, to me, is madness.
The greatest problem facing the local league is poverty. If a club such as Kotoko can sell their so called best players at the time they are preparing for champions league then one can imagine the extent of poverty on the local league.
The clubs are so hard-hit by poverty that they always offload their best players to obtain some money to manage the club. Because of this, the players we rate as the "best players" are simply mediocre.

You have all drawn wrong and illogical conclusions. Ask your selves what the possible reasons are for their poor performances. May be they were intimidated, may be the coach and management did not give them time to settle in the new environment, may be the other players in the team did not like them and refused to pass the ball to them at the right times and played around them in order to make them look bad, may be it was a plan to get rid of them in order to make room for players from Brazil or some preferred locations, may be there is corruption among the management team and these 2 were victims.
