My brother, do you think going to Soweto now is a very good idea? Well, there may be some advantages for going there in advance but let me tell you one of the biggest disadvantages which surpassed all the merits.

Since the tournament is going to be held at South Africa, I fully suspected that majority of the countries going to participate at the up coming tournament had already sent their representatives over there. And sending our national team there in advance would led those countries involve and the South Africans spy on us a lot which could be dangerous for our game plan. I can tell you plainly that, before any big fight, no Boxer would allowed his opponent trainer or any of the opposite side comes near his training camp. South Africans spying on us and studying our game plans and strategies, our keepers weak points is what you prefer for the team now?

It appears Ghana have too many coaches. But the arm chair and living room coaches who think they know better should allow the coaches and the team to train in peace. The arrangements have already been done. This is not the time to lash out and bash at decisions which cannot be changed at this eleventh hour. It is nice to make suggestions but the coaches are also experienced and know what they have to do. Their decisions ought to be respected especially regarding the final squad. Too many cooks spoil the broth.

After his final squad is out, I believe all hands will be down then because there will be nothing anyone could do to change something. From then on it will be nothing but support to bring the trophy home.

The reason is each player wants to be picked for the sake of the final squad, and therefore, will do everything to be included, including using black power and the rest.

So what is your presumption on that? The Ashantis are not better than Ga, Ewe, Nfantis, Dagombas, Nzimas, Frafra, Bonos etc, and why is that, because we are all Ghanaians and the team selections or whatever concerning the team should not be based on tribal but ANY GHANAIAN WHOSE IS WILLING AND CAPABLE TO DELIVER!
