No one is doubting his message. However, the rule is if one is not fit, he will be not allow to go to South Africa. Therefore, if Dede said he is hurt, he already disqualified himself. If he wanted to be in this squad badly, when the chance was given to him to report even with an extension, he would have done reported.

Now, what Tuga is doing doesn't make sense. He was a trouble maker when he was a player, now he is retired too such character still exist in him. Come on, Bro. Moreso, the final squad has already been chosen. Why bringing this now? Isn't it too little too late for Sammy to bring this issue back?

This is the time to support and to stop that controversy. Tuga has been a professional player before and I don't think he would have acted the way Dede did if Bayern coach at his playing days were to ask of him to report to camp on a certain date. Therefore, he should stop backing what wouldn't benefit the country.

Like I told a friend yesterday, this is the time to bring constructive comments, and I'm saying the same to Sammy, this is the time for him to bring the little he knows to help the team move on. He has a tremendous experience in this avenue and should offer some to the coach. Telling us that a half of a player is better than some players, a public figure as he is, wouldn't come out right.

Therefore he should hold his peace in this subject. The case is over and damage has already been done. Let us move on.

I think people should stop inflaming the situation. If they do, Dede will be back and so will Jordan and we will have all our best players in the Black Stars. All people are doing now is causing more bitterness and resentment on the part of Dede and Coach Appiah towards each other. We need Dede in the team but we are not helping things by insulting the coach or Dede and making both bitter. Let us all support the Black Stars. And remember this: while it is true that we can win the AFCON without Dede (and we probably will), it is never a good idea to leave your best player out in the cold. I am sure both Coach Appiah and Dede want Dede to be back on the team. Please make the future reconciliation easier for both of them by stopping all these inflammatory statements. It is too late to bring Dede back for AFCON 2013. But to do well in the world cup Brazil 2014, we need Dede, Kwadwo Asamoah, Atsu, Asamoah Gyan, Muntari, Agyemang Badu, Anthony Annan, John Boye and all our great players to be on top of their game and together in unity. Of course we all know Dede’s calibre and dedication and to take him along even half fit would be worthwhile if there was the chance that he was going to play only one match. But countrymen, there are rules to follow. I don’t think Kwesi Appiah would have been acting wisely if he had included a player’s name in the AFCON list when that player had not reported to camp before the deadline for submitting the list.
To me, Kwesi Appiah proved that, he rates rationality and sound reasoning above emotions.

When he is just lucky to be on some TV programs that does not take in depth knowledge of panelist and broadcast professionalism seriously, he thinks he is a soccer analyst. Has he double checked his delivery on such discussions? A professional sports analyst would never pass such a comment. His he saying that because Dede's father once came to him on the field of play and whispered that lie in his ear some years back? Who told him it was because he marked those guys that we won? What about the other players' efforts?
