You do not get it HKA of Toronto you are ignorant about the whole issue even how soccer is managed,it's two stories now,according to coach Appiah Dede was given the chance to join his colleagues in training by Monday but he Dede claimed he had to see his Doctors in France first and will be available on wednesday a day before coach Appiah had to present his final team to the AFCON authorities this compelled coach Appiah to leave Dede out because his injury had not been assesed by the Blackstars team doctors and had not trained with the team and moreover there had been other players who have been training with him for sometime and he have had time to assess them and could not leave them out for an injured player who was not ready to join the team at the right time and not ready to give himself up to be checked by the Ghanaian Doctors.Sulley Muntari was injured and had just recovered he was excluded from the team but nobody is talking about him TKA coach Appiah did the right thing by excluding Dede,anyone who understands the game will not complain about Dede but like someone said guys like you TKA who started knowing about football when Micheal Essien started playing for Chelsea do not know nothing about the rules and regulations of the game.

We do not want to hear excuses like, funeral, doctor, wedding, land dispute, etc... be on time and do your job. But of lately, you have changed with insurbordination cussing the Coach and Players out when you were taken out of a game. You were given two chances to report on Monday so if you were boarding a plane to report on Monday, the Coach would not have dropped you. Stop telling fibs because the Coach has explained why you were not selected. You wanted to report on Wednesday which would have put the Coach in a bind without knowing your fitness situation.

Please, we don't need this at this time. Maybe you thought without you the team cannot move on or we will withdraw from the games, "DAABIDA", no Player is bigger than the Blackstars.

Dede says he is shocked. I will love for him to stay in shock till this tournament is over because any word he utters could bring confusion to more hate to himself. I wish he can learn from Muntari. Look at what Sulley wrote two days ago to the boys. It was encouraging.

Like you said, Dede thought without his presence, the team could not go far. He should sit and watch for even his position may now be in jeopardy. With this lesson, I don't think he would take any of the Ghanaian coaches' statements lightly. This is a good lesson to all the players.

Some of you talk as if we've not lost any game DEDE has played in. He was in the 2008, 2010 and 2012 AFCON competitions and we lost. We have recently lost twice to Zambia and he featured in both games. This stupidity of half fit DEDE is better than some Players in Blackstars is an insult to Blackstars.

1.He demanded to be given number 10 Jersey without any respect to the one that was weaqring that number at that time, Kwadwo Asamoah. Kwadwo Asamoah could have made a lot of fuss but that is not his style and being such a humble and peaceful guy easily gave it to him.

2.Dede through his half brother demended to be made a Captain at a time when the team was not looking for a Captain.

3. During one of our games, the Coach pulled him out to be replaced by another Player and he started insulting the Coach and his technicaL staff. He did not shake hands with Hii Adjei who was being substituted for him. He went to the bench and was disrespectful to his teamates on the bench.

The above three instances is not what a team unity is built on. Some Players have even complained behind the scenes that, he breaks formation down for holding onto the ball for too long and also looks for his brother to pass to when both of them are in the game even if Jordan is not in the best position to receive the ball.

Toronto man, some of us have inside information and Dede is not a well liked team member.

It doesn't take a brain Scientist to know that Dede was in on it when his brother demanded the Captainship when Dede has previously said that captaining Blackstars is his aim. You have to realise you are dealing with young men who sometimes don't think through what they say.

Where were you when Dede said his father wore the number 10 jersey when playing for Blackstars and he wanted that jersey which Kwadwo Asamoah for the unity of the club handed to him peacefully.

Dede cannot behave like Ballotelli because he has not attained that status but he is on his way if he doesn't slow down.

Dede remains one of my favourite players; but he should not give any "BS" to create confusion in the BS (forgive the pun). If he is deliberately lying about this case and the matter as stated by the coach, he's just sowing seeds for discord which we need least in the national team.
He has been insurbodinate (and not for the first time) and should show respect to the handlers and other team mates if has the country at heart; which I believe he does.
And what is that nonsense about the "KPB issue and things not being normal"? Is Dede just trying to make the current BS handlers unpopular? KPB refused to play for Ghana even before Appiah's appointment; several efforts have since then been unsuccessfully made to get him back, and you want to cite that issue to support your own case and foment trouble?
Please don't disappoint those of us who truly admire your talents and wish you the best as a footballer of the BS.

When you tell your coach you prefer your own doctor's prognosis to the team doctor's, in effect you are questioning the competence of the set up . Time was of the essence and he was playing hide and seek thinking that he was indispensable.

Ghana gave Kevin Boateng the platform to shine. In the end he felt his loyalty was to his club. Fine. If he had not been given a slot in the Ghana team he would have ended up a reject from Portmouth club and would not have been signed by Milan.

Since these players retired, and your father who called Pele has nothing to offer to Ghana as he is undiciplined and because of that nothing good came out because of his atitude -like father like son. If your father has no good advise to give you , our country Ghana has advised itself need diciplined players to win our matches. You and your father thought you don't need any advise from anybody forgotten that you are Ghanaian and whatever you do, you will come back to your mother land. It is these Ghanaian Coaches and for that matter Country that put you and your father on top of the world and you are there on contract. At the end of the contract you gonna come back home with Ghana Passport so don't try to spin with lies and cut that crapp because our country Ghana has had enough period. Your attitude and lack of dicipline will not win matches for Ghana even if you are included it wont make any difference. Ghana does'nt need these kind of players. If the call to camp had come from the Marselles coach, he wouldn't have said he would prefer to be treated by a German doctor. In the African Cup of 1968, some big names refused to go to Sudan, but that paved the way for Kwasi Owusu and others to book their places in the BS.
The Ivory Coast has been parading big names all these years, and have been number ONE in Africa, but the cup has eluded them. Ayew, this is a wake up call. Most Ghanaians don't speak fondly of your father, so don't let it be said, 'like father, like son'.

From the look of things, Ayew felt reluctant to respond to coach Appiah's demands since the latter axed Jordan Ayew from the squad. The Ayew brothers need time to mature; they have to learn to be respectful. If you really love Ghana, you won't let anything stop you from responding to any national call up. I'd say, Dede and Jordan should begin to mature sooner than later!

The coach took a decision, i personally think it was a bit stiff but he is the coach so leave him alone and wish (him)Ghana well.
Dede made his comments from the way he sees things, cool why insult him, after all if not anything he has 'led' a team to win us a cup, we all celebrated him when he came through time and again for the country. If we continue in this manner, we will have a lot of Kevin Prince Boatengs of even worse Welbecks and Balotellis who won't even think of the black stars.
At the end of the day, our insults are greatly contributing to our skill drain.
Whether Dede or any foreign based player plays for the stars or not they will at least not go hungry, but we may be waiting another 2 or four years for another chance at a cup.
I write this not in defense of Dede, but in defense of all who have put in some effort to serve our nation, be it a coach(foreign or local) or players.
We have become a society who will hail you for a thousand good deeds but woe unto you if you make half a mistake, we will crucify you.
Let's learn to appreciate what we have and discuss opinions in a civil manner. After all the one who insults only tell how he/she was brought up!!
