If we play like we did yesterday we would not go past the group stage. Gyan sometimes i don't know what goes o i his head. Simple finish and he makes it too complicated...Adomah was a waste and does not qualify to wear the number 10 jersey. He can't tackle, he can't win 50-50 balls, outta pace and very poor decision maker. Why Akwasi Appiah likes him so much i don't know.
It's about time we did away with that fformation and start playing 2 strikers. Let's learn to defend between now and the next game otherwise we will not make it far. Let's play some Ghana football, the Brazil of Africa, holding the ball, neat passing, finding spaces, closing opposition down and taking our chances.

A top sticker needs to have high level of atheletism, wits and skills. Gyan is a good athelete but woefully lacks the wits and skills of a top striker. Is it amazing how far soccer has taken him with such limited attributes. His athletism seem to compensate for his lack of wits and skills in the eyes of some people but not to me and a lot Ghanaians. The goals Gyan scores are chances that most strikers will convert. He also misses a lot of chances that most strikers will convert. There isn't that many Gyan goals that commentators will descibe as brilliant. It is also surprising he can only shout with his inside foot which slows him down when converting a chance because he needs a lot of time to position himself for that. Actually, Gyan should learn from how the Congo striker scored with his outside foot. Gyan would have had to stop and lean to his left in order to shoot with his inside foot to the right corner on the chance but it was a one-touch for the Congo striker. Also, is Gyan saying he can't anticipate and recover a pass placed behind him in the box? Adomah's pass to him that caught Gyan by surprise was shocking to me. To me, the pass was brilliant but obviously not to striker A. Gyan who thinks a good pass is only when placed infront of him.

Gyan during the era he played for UDINESE,RENNEE and SUNDERLAND isn't the Gyan we're seeing now.He looks very sluggish.By the way who else do i have who better than Gyan as a striker?

This guy won't get better. He has played 2 world cups and at least 3 AFCONs. He has missed numerous open scoring chances, including crucial penalties. He just doesn't have it. Old dogs can't be taught new tricks you know.

Call Gyan whatever striker you want but he is and has been the best striker so far and the numbers has always backed it up.All those teams that had being buying him all these years in Itaily,France,England and now the Arabs all did not or were not buying him because they blind and stupid they did or were doing that because they knew and know he is a fighter and that he got the juice.All these coaches always calling him to the stars also for all these years know who have and who they are calling.I have watched this guy all these years and know doubt the guy has it.Just throw the guy in there and bet on him he never goes through couple of matches without a goal.Yes sometimes he really breaks hearts but he is the best striker Ghana has now.Anyway players come and go so we all know he is not going to be there forever.Just as the Abedis,Kuffours,Baffoes,Tuffours,Opoku Afiriyies,Opoku Ntis,Sundays,Malik,Polos,Anas,Mama Acquahs,Osei KOfis,John Mensah,Stephen Appiahs,Keeper Kingstons etc.all came and left someday so will Gyan also go someday.The Ghana always has is that we are endowed with midfielders always but strikers has always been a problem.We all thought Adiyah or Tagoe were going to be our answer with Gyan or after GYan but they were all a total flop.I continue to watch Abedi's kids but for now Ayew is more than perfect and great like father but the Jordan let us face it is not that great.May be his father's name can push him into the squard but on merit I donot think so.I love the Abedis dearly but you call a spade a spade.It hurts but use the right judgement.Thanks.
