HOWEVER, WAT HAPPENS BEFORE THEY GET TO THE FIELD IS THE COACH' RESPONSIBILITY AND IN THE CASE OF WAKASSO. AA IS AT FAULT BCOS HE WAS EQUALLY NEGLIGENT AND INEXPERIENCED AT BIG TOURNAMNT LEVEL. Remember in Ghana, we do things anyhow without due regard to rules and a more simple reason we fail to win the African cup.
Even a player as thick as Abedi Pele, made the same mistake and we lost bitterly to Ivory Coast in 1992.
I'm glad someone pointed it out that soccer is not just like kicking and dancing with the ball. That said our players need to be schooled about rules of engagement, in the game.
To win tournaments require extreme discipline. Thus silly things such as these that can steer controversy must be deep rooted in the players mind.
Soccer has and always had been business, that yield great monetary rewards, that said our players should go to the field to earn the money and not to play and dance after scoring.
Look at German and Barcelona, they will play to finish all games before celebration and that's a reason they win tournaments.
We need to win tournaments not just games and having a business attitude, should be the order of the day among our darling players.
Asamoah Gyan does not necessarily have to score goals. As long as, his performance is attracting defenders and opening up for others to score, he should be motivated to do what he has been doing, a decoy.

If they are the same, there shouldn't be that kind of controversies going on around the world. Every year in Mecca, during the trip to the islam holy shrine, there's always a stampede. Normal human beings walk on their fellows without the sense of helping one up for the fear of missing the opportunity to see that shrine. Religion has contributed to both peace and war with God at the center of it all watching brothers kill brothers. It takes the sensible person to say I'm for peace but not war and that if I have an issue with my brother, it'll make more sense to settle it ammicably without fighting. We all bleed red, all taste rain, all fall down, loose our ways. We all say words we regret and all cry tears. Sometimes we're strong, sometimes we're weak, sometimes we're hurt and it cuts deep. Yet, we live this life from breath to breath, we are all the same and we all bleed red.

If FIFA and CAF can stamp this out of the game then they can stop players saying 'thank you God'. I think most Christians are more intolerant than moslems and hide their intolerance behind all kinds of rules. When have you ever objected to any player saying Thanks be to God? Players thank God all the time with messages on their undershirts, stop trivializing this issue. Most players point their fingers into the sky to thank God for giving them the chance to score goals and the Moslems more recently pray on the playground for thanksgiving.

Laws are laws and rules are rules.I donot really know all the rules governing these games but ignorance is no excuse.Hopefully he will be given the benefit of doubt but this should go to our leaders.They need to educate our players on the full rules surrounding games such as these.They should be advised to celebrate but they should not allow it to go overboard.They should also be advised about how every player is very important at every game because what sense does it make if we are going to fly you there only to play one good game and sit out for thye rest or two of the games.That way you become more of a liability than an asset to the team so they should be mindful of yellow cards.Some of these cards are just unnecssary.They should watch the videos critically after each game and be the judge and advice themselves.If you have Drogba,Asamoah Gyan,Paintsil,Badu etc.sitting out at various games just imagine the ramificatins of their actions.Yes play it hard but play it smart.We need every player at this crucial time.Kudos to all the stars.
