It is true that you have been a goalkeeper before because your statement of leftees proves it. A keeper can always tell the aim of a leftee, and apart from that, the leftee is likely to shoot wide!

Winner from #1 is going to meet the winner from #4 in the semi-finals.

So with how the nations are set for now, Ghana will not meet South Africa, Mali, Nigeria or Ivory Coast until the finals. Therefore, check your teams' arrangements well. Something is not adding up right.

In my opinion all the players should be given serious practice of penalty kicks during training, with results tabulated in order of expertise. The chart should be kept secret by the coach because it would contain the permutations of each player's ability. The same goes for the goalkeepers for catching penalties and also for shooting penalties. Players who are good at penalty kicks should be informed that they have been chosen as the elite squad in case it comes to it. It is unprofessional to wrangle about who should shoot penalty kicks on the field of play.
