He did not only control the mid-field, he also prevented Ivory Coast from defeating nija. Watch nija versus ivory coast, watch nija versus burkina etc. What has wakaso done. The boy , wakaso is the most selfish player i have ever seen in my life. You ghanaians need to always think before you talk. Many reporters are reporting Gyan was selected as on of CAF 2013 Best XI. I got my news from a Nigerian website. Though Gyan missed a lot of scoring opportunities, he was a good assist.
