  Interesting, so how come he was able to play for Osasuna before AFCON 2013? Shouldn't he have applied for the long-stay visa from Ghana before being eligible for a permit to work/play in Spain? This is because Norway (where he used to play) isn't even Schengen and in any case a work permit from any EU country is only applicable to that country.
  
  So he should have come to Ghana for a Visa type D before being able to play in Spain last year.
  
  Having said this, the ‘red tape’ in Spain is unbelievably ridiculous and the staff at the Spanish Embassy in Ghana treat visa applicants like the third world citizens we have been labelled.

  Well, it doesn't matter if he spent time on Labadi Beach ore in Spain. He is on the bench and he is used to it for long time. At his time in Schalke04 in Germany he made 3 stints in a half year time.
