Man proposes, God disposes! Usually, Asamoah Gyan wouldn't be taken off even if he is dying. Today, changes like that has given us the upper hand over our opponent.
Where is POW, my brother? You mentioned the team wasn't playing well during the first 15 or so minutes into the second half. You are forgetting that they were down by two, and like every team will do when down, it comes with force. Therefore, they had to come into the second half with everything they had.
During that time, we rather played with counter attack plan because the midfield couldn't handle the pressure. They were clumsy and couldn't handle the possessions at that time. That also path way for us. I say that because if you watched it well Sudan was the ones running with the ball whilst our players were absorbing the pressure. When Sudan couldn't penetrate our defense, Appiah made brilliant quick changes I have ever seen in him since he took office, and these changes paid off.
When have you seen Appiah making three changes between 50th and the 70th minutes like that? POW, I mean 3 changes! Usually, even if Asamoah Gyan is not playing well or injury, Kwasi Appiah still keeps him in the game. We had a good bench as always, for this one though, he made the changes, he took the chance and it paid off.
With Gyan out in the 52nd minutes, which gave way for Agyemang Badu to come in, it strengthen the midfield and also threatening the opponent's defense because we all know how fast Agyeman Badu is when he gets to the 3/4 section of the pitch. Even not only Sudan is aware of Agyemang Badu's long range shots but the world is aware of that. That alone put pressure on the opponent's defense.
Sulley was controlling the midfield but was a little slow and that brought in Solomon Asante in the 57th minutes, who also sped up the game. This change too put fear in Sudan because their pushing strategy was minimized from then. They were pushing but were a little bit cautious. The momentum switched from there.
Finally, with the introduction of Emmanuel Frimpong in the 67th minutes when Rabiu Mohammed came out, solidified the midfield and gave way to the strikers to push more. All these changes brought in the last two goals which were scored by Abdul Majeed Warris in the 79th minutes and Agyemang Badu 5 minutes later.
The players did well. We should have included Abdul Majeed in the squad that went to South Africa, like I suggested, instead of that three strikers we took with us. I'm sure Appiah is learning for all the mistakes he made.
Both the players and the technical team did well. They have to use this game as a step and improve on the next game.
Now he question is do we still need the two Ayew brats? Which player in today's match Jordan Ayew is better than? Can someone help me here? Therefore, with or without them, the country will move forward.

Each of us has been blessed with talents in case you haven't realized that. Their talent is football and others may be managing them or scouting or administration or law enforcement etc. Whatever one's talent is, it is worth using to help others and the country.
The Ayews are using theirs to help the country, which is good, however, have decided to bluff. This is what no one wants to hear. What someone is doing for the country, I mean one's occupation, is not revealed unless you know that person. Most of us have responsibilities in helping the country advances. For the fact that we chip in with comments in here doesn't mean we have nothing to do. Even one with a construction job in Ghana is contributing into the country's success.
Now let me educate you here a little. According to you, kindly allow me to quote from your comment.

Let me ask you this. Where do you think that POWER man has comes from? I will take you through. Secondly, this same quote is where mastering a destiny has its facts. Here is the quote and it is from the bible.
Deuteronomy 8:18. It says, "Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful, in order to fulfill the covenant he confirmed to your ancestors with an oath." Do you understand that? Basically, all this is saying is that, one doesn't become successful on his own. The power here is classified as the ability, or the skills, or the knowledge, you or me or the Ayews have, is given to us in order for God to establish God's covenant with us. Therefore, it is not by our might or by our power that made us so. This is why one needs to be humble no matter what gift is given to us.
Now do you see the reason a man becomes a master of his own destiny? It is not because he has the power to influence his own subconscious mind, it is because God wants to establish his covenant with man. Anyone God wants to establish His covenant with him, needs humility. This is a character, the Ayews don't have.
If you have any advise to give to anyone, I believe you should relate it to the Ayews. Humility is the key. If one doesn't have it, his gift will soon diminish. Is that what you want for them? I don't think so.

Ask Mahama Nlai, the duo striker with Mohammed Choo of RTU. When Nlai left RTU to Hearts even at the height of his goal-poaching instincts, he was a reserve on the Hearts substitute bench. So was Karimu Starboy. Yes, becoz the Hearts forward line was full of super goal poachers - all 5 of them. These Ayew brothers may be budding talent to you, but they haven't got there yet. OMG!! Though i do not know the rational behind the Ayew,s refusal to play for their country, but whatever it is my advice to akwesi appia is to try as much as he can to mediate between the ayew,s and kevin prince Boateng if we are to produce a better team to compete successfully in Brazil next year and not to be complacent for the fact that Ghana has won convincingly without the Ayew,s and can still do better in Brazil without them. In football a team need certain class of dribblers in order to break a formidable defense to pave way for strikers to penetrate through. A typical example was against Boukina Faso in the confederation of African cup finals in South Africa. There is still much time to call DEDE, JORDAN, ESSIEN, and Boateng to grab the confidence Ghana need in full preparation for the world cup. Forget about all those tittle tattles, animosities and all those trivial and pointless aguments about the ayews, Ghana needs them.
