You are right my brother,KK Sarpong should find a better way of raising money for the team. The players are the heart of the team,Look at how they straggle this year.
A word to a wise is enough.

KOTOKO AS A POLICY SHOULD PUBLISH THEIR ACCOUNTS IN THE PAPERS AS THE BANKS DO SO THAT WE CAN ASSESS THEIR FINANCIAL STANDING. THERE HAS TO BE AN AGM TO PUT THIS ACROSS TO THEIR "SHAREHOLDERS"

As one of the world's premier soccer (football) clubs, Manchester United (MANU) has enticed many investors to research their stock since their August 2012 IPO.
The stock fared rather well in the opening days of trading and has moved up since. Since the IPO, Man U's stock is up nearly 32%. Competing in the Barclays Premier League,
Manchester United is one of the most globally recognized soccer teams, largely as a result of their success on the pitch over time.
Man U has shown that it is able to grow revenue and the bottom line by sizeable portions from sponsorship deals and other sources as well as through geographical expansion.

This is the most ridiculous thing for the chairman of club like Kotoko to brag about. Kotoko is a dynasty, but with all the glory and pride with the club, they have no Stadium of their own to make their own money, even with the Asante Hene as the patron or the owner of the club who has the power to control lands in the Ashanti Kingdom. Kotoko is now associated with Sunderland club in England, now if you look at it, Kotoko is more recognized in footbal world than Sunderland, Kotoko, the team of the century (how appropriate, anyone who follows the team will remember before they got their own bus, the bus they regularly use for transportation had the word Century written on the front and back of the bus) had no stadium to call their own and collect the gate fees, sell team merchandise and even rent space for concerts and many other things. Now I ask, when do you stop selling players and go for glory.

Kotoko should set up an academy to produce good and young players to feed the "A" Team. With this, they will have enough players to sell and still remain strong.
