We have suffered enough under the rules of yellow card suspension for far too long. Since AFCON 1992 Abedi got suspended in the final match against Ivory Coast, through World Cup 2006, Michael Essien suspended in the round of 16th and so Brazil beat us 3-0; all the way to AFCON 2012, where history repeated itself, whereby a son of the legendary Abedi Pele, Andrea Ayew, also got suspended and therefore missed a semi-final match played against the eventual tournament winner, Zambia, and now this U-20 squad, in a semi final match against France, nothing has been done about it.

The question here is what can we do to limit such incidents? There is nothing we can do to stop it, though, however, to limit it, there is. If we have time, we could have gone through all these suspensions and the ones I didn't mention and history would make it plain to us that attitude played a bigger part in it. I agree, some of them were by accident, on the other hand, majority were through quick temper.

You may not understand but to me, if we were to have all our players at hand during the France semi-final match, we could have knocked France out. Unfortunately, three players from our starting line-up were suspended. I'm sure you want to ask, "weren't these same players available when we got beat by this same France team 3-1 in the preliminary stages of the tournament?" They were but for that match, we lose due to technical deficiency. After that match, the technical team put things together and it worked until once again they couldn't cope with the idea of three main players being suspended.

Today will reveal the evidence of the act of our enemy, SUSPENSION! Today, with all players taking part in this coming third placed match, the evidence of we being eluded by the rule of suspension will be cleared.

It is about time we talk about this issue for it can't continue to hurt us.

This match with a result 3-0 win for Ghana has proved my point. When we have all the players at hand, we perform better.

Andre Ayew was not suspended in the AFCON 2012 semi final game. He was rather suspended due to yellow card accumulation in the quarter final game against Uruguay of the world cup in South Africa 2010. Know this!!!

That Friday July 5th, I was in Turkish Airline 12 leaving JFK, New York, at 11:55pm heading toward Istanbul. I got to my hotel room at somewhere 6pm the next day, the message reached me by the governor, Kojolee. I never knew I have so many love ones wanting to pay big bucks to release me from a fake dept.

I heard my Godfather, Sarskoberta, began to fast for God's intervention; the deputy, Kojolee himself, was ready to wire whatever amount required to get me out of there; my brother in-law POW, started reading the good book, the Bible, and determined to finish it at the same day to see if God could come down and take care of my problem, my Deputy General, the accountant, the handling the code to the empty vault, Mr. N, started calling for donations even though doesn't have a church house, to rescue his assistant; my general overseer, the Stallion couldn't help it but to buzzz all day hoping something good could come out of it.

There's no doubt about their potentials but they need to mature! remember they are only playing against boys, but in the senior team, they will be competing against Men in the opposition teams.

Sellas Tetteh has done very well but we can criticise him constructively. Tactically the Satellites lost from the bench but Sellas had the guts to blame in on the playing body which is unfair. The first mistake "Bobor" did was to choose Anabba ahead of Richard Yiadon-Boakye in such a crucial match and waited till the last minute before making changes.[ The best description "Give away" ] second mistake is to bring Salifu to the right back [ Description..technically bankcrupt ]
@ Another area we must look into is the rate at which Satellite players can easily attract unecessary yellow cards is alarming. Some situations can be avoided if Coach Sellas will sit them down and advise them not to let Ghana down on this issue. It seems every tournament our national teams participates we are always weakend through this red/yellow cards especially when we are getting to a medal zone. In 2006 World cup Michael Essien was shown the yellow card[2X plus previous]when the BS played U.S.A. He was out when we locked horns with Brazil. In 2010 World cup Andre Ayew was shown the yellow card [2x previous] He was out when BS battled Uruguay. All these players could have made the difference if they had played [Is it according to plan to make Ghana loose?] I will therefore like to encourage the G.F.A to look into the matter and to instill discipline into the National teams so as to avoid unecessary yellow or red cards which normally lets Ghana down.

I am more concerned about the yellow cards situation than anything else, especially since those cards come as a result of unnecessary fouling.
