Yes, we have a striker! When the other Serbian 'potato farmer' was the coach, he brought in players from the 2009 U-20 championship squad to the senior team. Can Kwesi Appiah do the same? I wonder if he has the guts or backbone to do it! Do we still believe that certain unproductive players have a guaranteed place on the team? The reason why some of them are not consistent is that they do not have to fight for a spot on the team.

Assifuah scored 6 goals in 7 matches. That's better than any 'strikers' we have on the Black Stars. It's about time we stop calling people like Jordan Ayew a 'striker'. He is not really Black Stars material either!

It is also about time for Kwesi Appiah to take chances with some of the talents that have been identified for him. I wonder if he knows talent when he sees one.

Ebenezer has got all the ingredients of a world class striker. He has speed and movement around the penalty box to outwit his markers and position himself for a pass to score. But even more importantly, he is lethal in both feet. In fact it is not clear which foot is the strongest as he can blast the ball very well with both. He is also good in the air. What draws him back a little bit is that he can sometimes be selfish and rash in his anxiety to score. He must learn to bring others into play if they are in good positions than him. He needs more international exposure to give him more experience and also build on his talent. To this end I would be happy if he is drafted into the Black Stars, sooner or later. Likewise the grooming for Godfried Aboagye should start sooner or later. It has been rare to come across a player with such vision and and penetrating pass to split up defences. With Assafuah. Abdul Majid, Jordan Ayew, Richmond Boakye Yiadom and Mahama Otoo on the horizons the Black Stars will soon strike fear into teams as they used to do in the 1960s.

true that, Aboagye is a very tactical player who at his age already has an eye for a great pass, hopefully a good team buys him and help him get better like Andrea Pirlo, but he needs to improve on his shots too wayward

Sellas Tetteh is not the one who drafted him into the team, it is Max Konadu. Remember that the U20 is there to unearth young talents, who will otherwise not be noticed in time to groom them for the big stage.

These guys Asafuah,Acheampong,Aoagye and all the other guys on the team are guys to watch they really wowed everybody.The defence aws not all that great but our midfield and offence were very up to the task.The team started the tornament very cold but got hot as the tournament progressed.That is always the set back with our style of play both Black Stars etc.we seem to always start cold we need to warm up and be battle ready at all times.We need to build more on our stamina because matches can go into extra time and we need to still keep the momentum up.Our boys need to watch more videos of world class players such as Messi,Ronaldo,Drogba,Asamoah Gyan,Essien,Steve Appiah,Muntare,John Mensah,Keeper Kingston etc.Kudos to you all.
