Thanks for the correction. He was brutally hacked down by "Tirelss Horse" Oliver Acquah and his leg injuries become a chronic problem since; he's always seem to have one leg longer than the other one. LOL
This George Alhassan was not part of the fearsome five, this is old George Alhassan he played with the likes of Abeka, Robert Foley, Afro Joe Dakota, just few to mention. He once use to leave in Accra New Town and work with ...

POWer!
These two-some folks got a rhythm, beat alike and sounds alike as well.
They might confuse the UK immigration officers at any given visa day. "OlyDade and Hats-No-Good." Haaaaa
Are they related?
Beats Me.
Both Georges got their last names as a result of switching faith in religion. They are Alhassans by the grace of "kramo som". One from Osu and the other from Labadi
He is not from Osu or Labadi.
You're wrong raised to the power one trillion.

The George Alhassan of '82 is not the same as the one who has just passed on.
I personally call him checker because he outwitted me in 1968 at the Accra Sports Stadium whilst playing for Tema Hurricanes. He was a good friend and I have always adored him. RIP checker.
If George Alhassan outwitted you in 1968 at the Accra sports stadium then your bones are really dry. Kw33333, enough respect to you.
as far as i can remember George last played for oly dade and credit must be given to that.
George played for oly dade ( AGOSU )
Don't haste in your conclusions, if you're not certain about something ask and it shall be given. Seek and you shall find son. Lol
Sorry for jumping into conclusion, but i was a bit shock. Growing up in Tema, i know George Alhassan when he was trainning with State fishing coperation f.c. at oninku number 2 middle park every morning the mid 70's.

This George Alhassan never played for Oly Dade, He played for Accra Hearts of Oak. It was Haruna Alhassan that played for Olympics.
There was a George Alhassan that played for Olympics in the late 70's and early 80's. The George Alhassan being refered to here is 'Ga Mantse', who played for Hearts in the late '60s.
My dad always talks about this guy. I wish there are videos of him somewhere.
It is still too early for us on west coast, but I am going to call daddy later to console him.
This George Alhassan was not one of the Fearsome five, but was in the team at that time. I watched him play in the early 1960's until late 70's when he retired. He was always kind of 'limping' on one leg. The other George ...
