When I heard you(Kanawu) passed on I was shocked, how can a young man pass on like that.But that how life is. I remember you back in Kumasi during our school days in A.M.E Zion school at Asafo, kumasi. You were one of the vocal person I have ever enccountered. I wasn't surprise not long ago when I hear your voice over the radio kicking in for phobia as you alway during school days. Man!! I miss you and I hope all your fellow classmate back in 1981 as well. Rest in peace!!

It is news that has made today one of the SADDEST. I vividly remember Kanawu from an event that preceded the May 9,2001 epic match between Hearts Of Oak and Kotoko. The Zakkour cum Hebert "Friendship". He overflowed with the qualities required as an enthusiastic supporter and leader. I have seen just a few men with such courage, imput and zeal. KANAWU, we pray your soul to HEAVEN. The Almighty Creator might marvel at your tirelessness, if you perform as you did on earth.
