Why don't you advise him to concentrate on ensuring Hearts win the league title and wrestle the title from Kotoko. Perhaps in that way he would be able to substantiate the fact that he can be a better coach for our national teams than those from Kotoko. It looks like at the moment, Duncan has got his attention divided: it appears he has one eye on Hearts whilst the other is looking at Akwasi Appiah and the Black Stars. As Managing Director of the club it is your duty to reign the coach in if he makes stupid statements tended to divide Ghanaians loyalty to our national teams, especially our beloved Black Stars.

I suspect something went wrong somewhere at the other national teams level. For Black Stars, it's so glaring it can't be from there so let's check the Fabin's, Opeele's and the other former Fabu faithfuls. Haaaaa, any comments Ken?

Don't think all people from a particular background support particular teams. I always endeavour to examine the truth no matter who and what is involved. Even if I support a particular team and the coach of that team makes some foolish comments, I will not hold brief for him.

I don't get it where this admonishing of Phobians thing is coming from. I don't care who's a Phobian and who's not. Wrong is wrong and I've never said Duncan is right. How many national teams are coached by ex-Kotoko players or associates apart from the Black Stars? If you want to include Didi Dramani, mind you he was responsible for making history not only for Ghana, but the whole of Africa by guiding the Black Maidens to bronze in the last FIFA Women's U-17 World Cup. Duncan has been at the helm of our national teams on about 3 occasions and he has been a complete disaster in all of them. So I am not convinced that Duncan has no designs on Appiah as the current Head Coach of the Black Stars. It is jealousy when you attempt to maliciously undermine somebody's position by inferring the person got the job solely because of his association. It is clear Duncan thinks he can do better as the Black Stars coach. He will definitely like to fill in the shoes of Appiah. But he ain't gonna get it because he is useless hence the hence the quest to impugn on the incumbent's integrity. That is Jealousy. Unless you have a very different definition of jealousy. By the way Pow you have still not answered the queries. So I am repeating: What was the reason and motivation behind Duncan's outbursts? Secondly, if it is not jealousy, then what is it? Madness? Lunacy? Drunkeness? Pow I will like to know.

Ken, I have no idea the reason behind the outburst of Duncan. But check this, coaches Opeele and Fabin were all former Kotoko coaches as well as Maxwel Konadu. As for Appiah, he was only in Kotoko as a player not a coach.

The BS team is above any local team politics. Remember in 2000, when GLORIOUS ACCRA HEARTS OF OAK were the best among equals in Africa, and the Black Stars was in tatters? The interim BS coaching job was given to Sir Jones Attuquayefio, and what did he do when we were to play Nigerian Green Eagles? He fielded the Hearts team as the BS, and my , oh my .... the Kanus, the Taribo Wests, the Jayjay Okochas, couldnt believe they were playing a 'club' side. Such perfect display of soccer artistry by the Ghanaians to hold the dreaded Green Eagles to a draw. Even then, Ghanaians (esp Kotoko supporters) criticized.
We should care less about which affiliations a Black Stars coach has/ had with a local club and rather root for him to deliver successfully. Coach Duncan, if we went your route, we wouldn't have any local coaches for our various national teams. Did I read that you once coached the Starlets??? Any positive results there? Hmmmm...
