Soccer or football, is played with two legs, nothing else and with proper training and focused mind, the Black Stars can win. The Egyptians themselves are scared of the Ghanaians because they do not have those players who made the Pharoahs invincible.
Name in football circles, do not matter any more and the Black Stars should train hard and focus their minds on the task ahead of them. What will hinder Ghana is officiating. As this is the knockout stage, bad officiating can be very dangerous and that will play a crucial role as the game enter this unpredictable stage.

I do not know who this tamakloe guy is, but from his assertion, I have got to know him as a flop and must be revived by putting some sense in his brains.
The time to examine causes of goals against us, is now. Thus, we can find a solution to avoid any penetration by the Egyptians.
FYI, our team is not the best on the continent and coaches do not play the game, but lay out a plan for the game to be played.
These players have played since 2008 and have not won anything yet. Because we do not put a lot of work into any of our games. We wait till the last minute and call players to play.
Remember, Egyptian players gel and that's one aspect our players lack. In order to beat Egypt, some sacrifices have to be made, and put them together for about two weeks. Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to do that and you call the coach head. If he lose this game to Egypt?
No wonder, Kunbour claim " some Ghanaians are just paid to talk but cannot think. This guy is one of those empty heads in Ghana.

This farmer has about 500 hens, but no rooster, and he wants chicks. So, he goes down the road to the next farmer and asks if he has a rooster that he would sell. The other farmer says, "Yep, I've got this great rooster, named the Black star. He'll service every chicken you got, no problem."
Well, Black Star the rooster costs 3,000,Cedis a lot of money, but the farmer decides he'd be worth it. So, he buys black Star. The farmer takes Black star home and sets him down in the barnyard, but first he gave the rooster a pep talk. "I want you to pace yourself now. You've got a lot of chickens to service here, and you cost me a lot of money. Consequently, I'll need you to do a good job.! So, take your time and have some fun," the farmer said, with a chuckle.!
Black star seems to understand, so the farmer points toward the hen house and Black star takes off like a shot. WHAM! Black star nails every hen in the hen house - three or four times, and the farmer is really shocked.
After that, the farmer hears a commotion in the duck pen and, sure enough, B Star is in there. Later, the farmer sees B Star after a flock of Sudanese geese down by the lake. Once again - WHAM! He gets all the geese. By sunset he sees B Star out in the fields Zambian chasing quail and pheasants.
The farmer is distraught and worried that his expensive rooster won't even last 24 hours. Sure enough, the farmer goes to bed and wakes up the next morning to find B star on his back out in the middle of the yard, mouth open, tongue hanging out and both feet sticking straight up in the air. Egyptian Vultures are circling overhead.
The farmer, saddened by the loss of such a colorful and expensive animal, shakes his head and says, "Oh, B star, I told you to pace yourself. I tried to get you to slow down, now look what you've done to yourself."
B star opens one eye, nods toward the Egyptian Vultures circling in the sky and says, "Shhhh .. they're getting closer and I will fuck them too"

Now Appiah over to you. The doctor is indirectly telling Appiah that if he fails to win, that means he is not fit for the job. In other words, he, the coach should be kicked out and I do support that. Like he put it, we have all departments secured with talents; therefore, there is no way we should come home without the ticket to Brazil at the end of the playoffs.
Coach Kwasi Appiah, over to you.

You may have your own evaluation on both teams as to how you witnessed their performances and so your conclusion may be different from mine. That is okay and I will not insult you of having your opinion. One thing is that I haven't underrated the Egyptian's national team. My comments have been based on my observations. I have seen Egypt performing in the qualification matches. When I compared those performances to the Black Stars, even though we haven't been performing to the highest level of the expectations of the fans, there is nothing in Egypt's performances that tells me could stop us from overcoming them.

You sided with the retirees when Mr. AA wanted to maintain discipline in his squad. You even criticized him when he called 23 to camp when even Cote'Ivore called 28 to camp. Everything the coach does is bad to you. Yes we know all. Now your agenda is falling flat in your face. You are now coming on board to save your face. Shame on you. Your PHD did not work. I am talking about the days of Razak, Polo, George Alhassan, Quarshie, Kofi Abbrey, John Banerman, Isaac Essian. Hesse, Ofei Opoku Niti, Abede Kwasi Appiah etc. Kyenkyhene Rockson. and even around this time other countries were not so good.
With this team we still have problems with the left back and the right wing. Nyaho should stop his politics.

For us to excel to the greatest heights, it is necessary to come out of dark ages mentaity.
Any time we are going to play North Africans we have a wrong notion that we can gain advantage over them by shifting the match to the hot afternoon. It is as if we think hot weather is good for us forgetting that our entire team plays in Europe. The truth is that, hot weather is not conduicive to any human being. So the home match should essentially be under the evening cool weather.
We should concentrate on beating Egypt in soccer only.
I remember that childish story we like telling about how Algeria defeated us in 1994 world cup qualifier in Algeirs. The story is that just before the match the Algerians poured water on the field and that
made it difficult for us to play well. This is laughable because the Algerians also played on the same field.
We should come of such defeatist mentality and resolve to beat Egypt whether the match is played under the sea or on top of Mt Everest.

My brother you couldn't have said it better. This is a tough battle facing the Black Stars and the coach and his technical team need all their wits and focus to evolve a winning strategy. Surely, trying to put his job on the line even before the first ball has been kicked is very misguided. As you point out, it puts unnecessary pressure which has the tendency of distracting from the main goal of planning, focusing and concentration. Those who are indulging is such antics are grossly misguided or they just want the coach to fail, to put it mildly. They have every right to question the coach's competence if we fail to qualify. But for now they should be patient and instead give their wholehearted support and prayers to them.
