They just need to play their game. Both legs will be high pressure nail biters. If we happen to get a big win in one of the legs fine but that is unlikely to happen. I see two close games.

I do not think there is going to be a goals galore in any of the two legs. They are both going to be very tight games. I can however see Ghana going to Cairo with a two goal advantage and nicking a couple of goals in the return leg to put us through. We will go through after the two legs, that is for sure. that natural resources in abundance are a source of growth and wealth for

The phenomenon called "Dutch Disease" is also part of the
resource curse, which means that the exchange rate for the currency of
resource-rich countries becomes overvalued, and this hurts the exports
of other industries. WHAT THIS NDC GOVTIS DOING IS THIS. THEY HAVE DEVALUED THE CURRENCY, EXPORTING MORE AND STEALING THE MONIES INTO THEIR PRIVATE BANK ACCOUNTS.

I want to inform GFA, by this short piece that I have written to FIFA HQ asking for the Moroccan Referee to be changed. It's unacceptable to have a North African Referee in charge of this all-crucial game against Egypt; that's conflict of interest and against FIFA's own motto of Fairness and Fair-play among others. Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi & Co should express concern and send in their protest note. FIFA can't do that to any European Nation.

The onus is on the GFA to adduce evidence to prove the likelihood of bias should the Algerian referee the game. This should be pretty easy. As I stated above, the rules governing bias provide that in the quest for justice, there should be no bias or likelihood of bias in any process. On top of that there is the good old Common Law maxim which stipulates that"justice ought to be seen to be done". The is no way justice would be seen to be done in this matter. We have all the proof to substantiate this one. As long as we are able to discharge this burden of proof, we are home and dry. Not even FIFA is immune to the law. If Nyantakyi cant hack it, he should let me know, I will sort this out for my country for free. The only problem is that we do not have time on our side. The game is 12 days or so away.

Some years back, I used to hear a saying in Ghana that: "They look at a Kru man's face and give him rice" or a saying like that. (No prejudice in the preceding quote)

To be honest with you, since this referee was appointed, I have never been myself. If you go to the FIFA site where the African features are, you will notice after clicking on each "preview" that our case is the only odd one out.

Sheriff, as for this de3, I disagreed with you. Three North African referees from Morocco, unlike West Africa - Ghana and Nigeria. The three speaks the same Arabic with Egyptians, same Moslems brotherhood.
What makes you think they prefer Ghana to go to W/C than Egyptians? The three match officials, one would be fair, the other may be 50/50 and one may be bias fully. If this happens where do we stand. We get a clear chance and the lines man raised the flag, people gonna shout only and after that, our chance has been already brown out.

Well Stallion, you may have a point but then there is a Common Law maxim which states that "justice ought to be seen to be done" which translates in everyday English as that anything that would arouse the suspicion of bias sin the quest for justice is prohibited. Judicial notice is taken of the fact that North African referees are almost always biased when they take control of games between their arabic counterparts and a non-arabic country. We do not have to dig too deep into footballing archives to find this proof. With the backdrop I have just referred to, the GFA can make a case that justice will not be seen to be done should this Algerian referee take charge of the impending match, this should cut it is presented properly. Legally, we have a strong point and FIFA is not above the law.

I have rooted for Akwasi Appiah all this while but I am greatly disappointed by this singular act.
What for? Akwasi should know that he has at his disposal a collection of one of the greatest assembly of soccer talents anywhere on this planet. I can bet with my head that the coaches of teams like Spain, Germany and Brazil have taken note already and are planning on how to confront this dangerous team. The problem with us however is we don't have confidence in ourselves. We have Adam Kwarasey who has the reflexes and instincts to become one of the greatest goalkeepers of our time and yet we cry and beg old man Olele who has done his best already to come and rescue us. All that this boy Kwarasey needs is just a psychological tune up and maybe bring him down sometimes on holidays to play with the fishermen at Chorkor and Jamestown just to toughen him a little bit.
We need a psychologist who would sit these boys down and let them know that each of them is special, the reason they are the Black Stars.
I bet you these Egyptians have already surrendered but are watching us closely to see any sign of weakness in us to enable them pounce on us. We are suppose to be the number two best in Africa, a position I do not accept because I think we are the number one. We have got to take these Egyptians to the cleaners and put the fear of God in all our opponents before the world cup.
The only way to do this is to build the confidence of our charges. The talents are there, all we need is a psychological tune up.
