Left to me alone, it's a done deal. This guy is not supposed to be called again because he'll always have an excuse till we qualify for the world cup then he'll be fit for that tournament and start giving us excuses right after. If we don't have ears to hear, don't we have eyes to see from the way it looks? He's made up his mind and nothing can change it. He's not playing against Egypt in Kumasi and that's for sure.

Are you saying he was not hurt during the match this article is mentioning? Are you saying, he wasn't taken off the field just because he was hurt but because he faked? Have you ever heard of that before.
You, Polo, or anyone else have no point standing on to dismiss Kevin because he is a citizen of the Republic of Ghana. The right thing to do is what GFA is not doing. His medical report should be submitted and nothing but the truth would be apparent for all to see.
Moreover, he is a Ghanaian and so not even you or Polo could sideline him when he is ready to represent his nation. We have a habit of rejecting others even when facts have been presented.
If Kevin medical report says the player is indeed hurt, you, POW and your Polo owe Kevin an apology.

We have every right to doubt him because he's been lying to us from day 1. The flimsy excuse he made by turning his back to Ghana backfired on him. So why should we trust him. The only thing that can take the right of Kevin to represent his country, is Kevin himself. I know you are wondering and asking what is he talking about. Stop thinking hard for the answer to this statement is closer to you that you think. For Kevin not to be able to participate in his country's affairs, is for Kevin not to be able to provide what the govern of GFA demands. If he is able to come out with it, then your arguments are just noise in the ears of the citizens.
" it is not by force that if he is ready we must select him. The coach must call him before he can play." (Ern)
Most of you are not getting it. It is by force and anyone who stands in the way of the player's invitation, would be forced indirectly to do the right thing. Kojolee, you said it yourself, "it doesn't belong to ANYONE," and you are right. That is why you or anyone against, including whoever, have no right to take the right of a citizen from him.
Appiah would be forced to call him because the team doesn't belong to him. Here is how things like that works. When Kevin is ready and is fit and is on top of his game like he is now, even if the coach has no intentions of calling him, the members at GFA, the executives at GFA, the gurus at GFA, the media and the fans, will force the coach to call him because what the country wants is not what a group of fans or a single coach wants. Therefore, when a citizen of the country is fit and hasn't done anything to jeopardize his chance of being invited, the coach has no reason of not inviting him. Don't forget, the coach wants to win and so reason beyond hatred.
Do you think Kevin doesn't have fans also in the country? They are there and waiting for the right thing to be done by the player. That is all. As far as he presents his medical report and the Black Stars medical team accepts his excuse, none of you including the coach himself can't turn him down. Yes, I understand a coach can partially ignore a good footballer but whom to do think would be affected? Would Kevin be affected? I don't think so because he doesn't need the Black Stars now for his contract doesn't depend on how many national games he plays. The rather would be affected. This is why the coach wouldn't be fool to let his hatred, which I know Kwasi Appiah doesn't have one for Kevin, overpowers his success. Just allow him to do the right thing needs to be done, as presenting his medical report, and you all will see the outcome.
Why do you think he has the Ghanaian Passport? When you plead your case without facts, you put yourself under a tight corner without windows. However, when you have facts to present, as a citizen of a country, as some one who has right to represent his country, as a player who is fit and good, another citizen has no right to stop you, and you or the coach are not exempted.
We are all here.

Ern, I'm glad we get understanding to this case. I have even decided to stop arguing over this issue because like you said, you didn't know that he was taken out of the match before regulation time of the game. I think most people who are arguing may not be ware of that too and so there is nothing I could say would change their minds.
Now, for Polo's issue. I was just disappointed to read what Polo said about Kevin. Even if Polo didn't watch the match, as a public figure as he is, I expected him to make an inquires before saying anything against any player. He has been a player before and should know how fans react to comments that come from their national heroes. The moment a hero says something, any fool would jump in and follow just because he is a legend. This is why I went after Polo vigorously on his statement.
Yes we all make mistakes and I do understand Polo is a man too and can make several. On the other hand, he is not like us. Something I will say for people to laugh, when Polo says it, Polo will take it seriously. Why is it that?
Bro. Polo, Mammah Aqua, Robert Folli, Anas Saidu and some few players of then Accra Hearts of Oak were friends of my father. Because of that, when they come to our house, my mother was the one who cooked for them. My mother has been a Phobia fun even before I was born. When you come to our house in New York and I'm arguing with my mother over Hearts and Kotoko, you wouldn't believe we relate. One time POW called the house and was talking to me about Hearts. I had to beg him to stop before my mother hears him. POW is my witness on that day. I was even late of telling him to stop because my mother heard it and started with, "Phoooobia, Never Say Die!" POw was like ah is your mum a phobian." I told him not only a phobian but a Chelsea too with formation and technical knowledge, you name it, of the game.
What I'm saying is, I like Polo and if he knows that Slimzay is me, and saying something like that about him, I may get slap from my own mother. I love the guy but his comment about Kevin the last time wasn't well thought of. He needed evidence to back up his accusation, which he didn't have one.
That is all, Bro.

When he voluntarily quit the Black Stars he claimed that his action was based on the fact that he was not healthy enough to play tikatika soccer anymore. His play was also faltering at the club level. Then his then girlfriend revealed that Kevin's injuries must be attributed to the extreme sexual acrobatics that both of them engage in daily. She boldly said this to the news media. Just like that. The prince later claimed that her diagnosis was false and stupid. Later he seemed to have recovered enough to play good soccer.
Then Appiah and GFA and some Ghanaians demanded his return to the Black Stars. After some soul-searching and crave to participate in Brazil WC2013 Kevin decided to play for Ghana again. A day of practice for the Zambian game aggravated his injuries. He was missing in action in the victory over Zambia. His spirit is willing but his body is weak. Appiah must make his inclusion in future games with caution using the wisdom of Solomon. Essien also suffered similar set-backs prior and during matches for the famous Black Stars.

Diamond, you are so right, I was against his initial return because of what he said about the country. The country forgave him and accepted him back. Now he has been allowed into the Black Stars fold. Why do you want me to go against him? Has he done anything wrong since he came back? Has he insulted or said anything wrong to anyone since his return? What do you want me to base my accusation upon in going after an innocent man who hasn't committed any wrong since his arrival? Do you want me to join the group just because everyone is joining? Don't you think that would be termed as hatred?
For the fact that I disapproved his initial come-back doesn't mean I should hate him. I'm not like that. Let him do something wrong and see if I wouldn't go after him like I'm behind him now. That is me. You do bad, I bring it out; you do good, I support you. Is this what too much for you to understand?
Your dislike is turning into hatred now and you may need to check that out. Let him do something wrong then go after him. For that I will support you. Not when he is hurt in the face of all people you will expect me to push him aside.
I Don't think we should let our bad habits sabotage one's opportunity. What kind of thinking is that? Just because he can't make it for the upcoming match, even with his evidence, you still wouldn't hid to his truth evidence and want to throw him away. Does that make sense to you?
Wasn't this same player we demanded his presence in England friendly match though was hurt? When he came in, what good did it serve us? Was he able to play? You people are fighting a fight you know can't win.
"Would you like to play an injury-prone player, even if it's just a friendly with Somalia?" Question asked by Diamond.

Diamond was talking about injury-prone player, as term referred to Kevin, and I referred him to John Mensah's unfit program. It was a reference.
Who has been the famous injury-prone player in the Black Stars than John Mensah was? Was John Mensah playing through his injuries for the nation and his club? The answer is yes. Is Kevin willing to do that? The answer is no. For the fact that one's answer is yes, and the other's is no doesn't mean the NO respondent is wrong. You have to evaluate both circumstances in terms of the level of pain the individual can handle, in terms of the reason of their willingness of taking the risk and a whole lots are involved. Therefore, you can't conclude based on their willingness to play through.
There is no doubt, one can't compare Kevin to John Mensah based on patriotism. On the other hand you have to know too that John Mensah got all his opportunities from the Ghana Football Association, whilst Kevin was nurtured by the German Football Association. Even those who were nurtured from the same football country, have their differences when it comes to patriotism.

How many times must you give that person the opportunity before you give up, and when you give up, is that hate?
Where do you get the idea that your initial position just DISAPPROVAL but everyone's else's position is just HATE?
This is a nonsensical charge.
People are offering honest views on what they think the coach should do, and you're spinning them as haters?

I'm not saying you or anyone who is against Kevin's inclusion is hating him. That wasn't what I said. Below was exactly what I said.
"Do you want me to join the group just because everyone is joining? Don't you think that would be termed as hatred?"
All what this statement is saying is that I will not join in the parade to be termed a hater. Here is my reason. You have your reason of joining the parade and have made it plain to everybody. According to you, and those in the group, the player is faking. The player ins't injury. They player taken from the field during his club match was something the player planed.
I understand your point. You have a reason to back your conclusion so that doesn't mean you hate him. Allow me to take the explanation to the other way round too. What is going on is what you are basing your decision of joining the parade on. Isn't it? On the contrary, base on what is going on, I have no reason of joining the parade. I'm not seeing the picture as you are seeing it. You see him as faking; I see him as not faking. Therefore, for me not having any reason to base my conclusion on in order to join the parade, if I do decide to join, it would be termed a mere hatred. That was why as I asked you that is that what you want me to be? You have your reason, I don't but still wants me to join the band wagon.
IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!
Now let us move on in joining hand to move mountains for we have a difficult task ahead of us. Thanks

There are so many ways in killing a cat. Kelvin is trying to be smart (cat). His smarmtness can be subdued if Ghana's ambassador or the high commisioner to Germany coodinates diplomatically with the sports minister in Germany to ascertain the truth of his plight by asking his club to forward to him Kelvin's medical report of his recent injury. Even though it is HIPAA issue it can still be done if the sports govnerning body in Germany involves Kelvin in this regard to solve a common puzzle by making Kelvin to be aware of the importance of this matter if he complances's with the order. There should be a pracmatic law to crate an awareness to players who want to switch nationality this will serve as counter check and balances for players who want to eat their cake and still have it. Kelvin seems to be not straight forward with his dealings and its high time Ghana and Germary diluted his storbonness for the betterment of his professional carrier.

Why are you not demanding that he should come down for the local Doctors to examine him but rather waiting for medical report? Why was Andre treated that way?

I am of the view that this guy has the mentality of feeling inferior when he plays for Ghana.Maybe he feel he shouldn't have agree to play for Ghana just as his brother refuse to do for Ghana but rather Germany. What he seems to forget is that destiny send us to where we are suppose to be and no deity what soever can change that.Thank his stars, where destiny took him to favored him so much so that just after the world cup,he got offers that has made him what he is today. To me if he feels he can no longer go with what has made him what he is today, lets allow him to go and posterity will never forget that there live once upon a time, somebody call Kelvin Prince Boateng who turned his back to his people and spit on them after gaining so much from them. May be he is suffering all this injuries because of the way he is treating us after we made him what he is.Lets leave this guy alone to his conscience.

Exactly, nobody is guarantee for the national team and it doesn't belongs to ANYONE.

Mensah became only injury-prone during Sunderland, and that was only because he had seen more years and action than Kevin.
When Mensah was called, he played.
When Kevin is called, he does not.
When a player is injured all the time, even given the veracity of occurrence, then the sensible thing to do is to cease calling the person, because he cannot contribute when injured.
You don't keep calling someone to help ...
