Yes, in this statement, you are right, "The Patriotic man" you pointed out. Upon all his patriotism, look at how he was treated at the last invitation. Matter of fact, his letter came in even before others. His apology to Kwasi Appiah was plainly and publicly stated by the coach, as Appiah's own statement said, "he and Muntari had solved the problem" and so everything was ironed out, but was left behind in the name of teaching him a lesson.
What lesson came out of that? This guy loves playing for his country so much but we treat him like he is a no body. Even asking a question like, "why am I taken out from a game" too became a crime and he was crucified by his own. Today here we are calling him with tittles. People on the net here insulted him and talked trash about him. Today, this same man has become our hero.
2 assist and 1 goal to his name in a game like this, where can we get players with such qualities. They are hard to come by so we need to appreciate them. Don't get me wrong and misunderstand my point. When one does something, I believe and I'm all for discipline players. On the contrary, when he has realized his short coming and has apologized, it is our duty to also forgive and restore him back. That is what a good parenting is all about.
It is about time we appreciate our heroes. I know gradually, most of you will term Kevin Prince Boateng too as the king; though, he is not but a prince. Most of you will be confused and wouldn't even know the name to give to him, like it usually happens to KojoLee, the Governor. You will be quick to forget about all his injuries and absence from the national team and admit to his justification.
Sulley is back and and I know KPB too will be back. All eyes will be on them because God always vindicates his chosen ones. The country thank God for your comeback, Mugu. Though, they drove you along gravels, it didn't weaken you, but rather strengthened you. God bless you for your endurance.

Haaa there we go again. Day Time Pee, immediately that you started preaching about Sullamungu man, I knew it was INDIRECT talks for KPB.
We all knew & knows who Sullemana was before and is now. A very Stubborn, headstrong, willful, difficult, inflexible, iron-willed, uncompromising, unbending, stiff-necked, bloody-minded, contumacious. antonyms compliant etc., you named it.
... BUT! HE IS DEDICATED, PATRIOTIC, READY TO DIE FOR HIS COUNTRY, NEVER EVER TURNED HIS BACK AGAINST HIS COUNTRY ON ANY GROUNDS WHEN NEEDED. NEVER DECIDED WHICH MATCH HE WANTS TO PLAY, WHICH VENUE AND ONLY READY FOR WORLD CUP. Even the coaches do punished him for his insubordinates as well as the insults rained on him from the media and the fans, but this young fellow keeps wearing the National Jersey when he was asked to. He had never played tricks and fakes on us since I have known him.
'Waat' about "Konongo Kaya KPB? So you meant his participation on Soweto W/C surpasses all the "Haats" broken, fake injuries and manipulations that he has send us through and continues doing it. Let me t33l you something Mr. Pastor Do Good eii, If you mess with Black Star, then you mess with my whole family!
Now I have seen that, you are toooooo close to the team, I mean you do have DIRECT CONTACTS with the players and that does not meant you should stand on their behave for public out cry. Just let us kall Agya Ananse, Ananse, period.
Have you in a munite considered How & Why some people were soooo mad about that little brat?
Pastor, please let those who wants to compliment, compliments and those who wants to 'kritisis' also 'kritisis'!
Haaa I daff with dis Pastor's soccer ideologies.

You see, the comparison I made wasn't about patriotism. Take your time and read the comment. It is about we not forgiving but expect to have good players to represent us. That was why I used Muntari's apologies to both the nation and the GFA, which includes the coach, as examples. Through forgiving blessings occur and most of us don't know this. Take the patriotism out because no one can compare Kevin to Muntari in terms of patriotism. That is a no brainer so don't use that. What you need to use is the point of forgiveness which you and some others have refused to give. Do you know why I see that in you? It is because what KPB did years ago is what you are using to judge him today even though there are evidence of his justification.
You refuse to heed to the facts because of his past. Like the bible says, "Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."
Did you hear renew your mind from the scripture I quoted, I mean changing your thinking? Did you hear God's will is good, pleasing and perfect?
Now allow me to break it down to you. The thinking you have about KPB has never changed though facts have been presented. You don't use someone's past to judge him because you have one and no one has used it to judge you.
Do you hear God's will in the passage? This is something you and others need to learn from. Positive thinking is the key, remember that. When one person is not available, God knows the reason why which you and I don't. That is why we need to think positive about every situation that germinates in our lives. Here are some questions you may have to ask yourself:
1. When Kevin left, which player or players in the now squad had the opportunities to blossom?
2. Are these players available for us when they are needed?
3. With these players, are we not better off than before?
4. When KPB comes, are these players going to be left at home or on our bench?
5. How is it going to benefit our bench?
6. With KPB's absent, have we gain or not?
Wisdom will tell you that we rather gained though he took off.
Here are some example:
1. When Essien took a break, can you tell me who took over his position and is that player still not in the team? Are we going to need the services of that player and Michael who came back?
2. When Asamoah Gyan went of a brief vacation, wasn't that was the same time Warris was discovered? Remember, Majeed Warris was included in the squad but he wasn't given the opportunity to play. When Gyan took off, Biakyie Yiadom and Warris had the position to share. This has helped them to gain tremendous experience. Today we have Warris even pairing with Gyan. A talent that was hidden until something happened.
3. Jordan and Andrea Ayew went off and in the process, Albert Adormah and Solomon Asante had the opportunity to step into Andrea's shoes. Now, Dede is back and Adormah is still hanging in there.
My point is that, when we look at our bench and even into our first 11 players histories in terms of how they were called, you will see that most of them were called because something happened and they had to replace others.
God's will, is what good, pleasing, and perfect! We are able to beat Egypt with that margin because something happened and others stepped in and all have grown together to be part of a good victory. We need to think positively and all will be well for our nation.
Therefore, renew your mind!
I say that because

Being a patriotic citizen or a good homeboy does not mean you can't go wrong,"to err is human" they say and Muntari misbehaved when he was subed and he was penalized, he realized his wrong doing and did what was expected of him thus respecting the rules and regulations of the National team and coming out a hero in our last match thereby restoring his much acclaimed love of the Ghanaian fans .You need to be a strict and a truthful father and face the challenge of child discipline in order to have decent and respectful kids not spoiled, arrogant clowns in your home .Muntari sensed something wrong when he was left out of Zambia match and the lesson that came out was what you witnessed in the match against Egypt . I want to say this to all the National team players whether top or low ranking the Black Stars would not come to a halt when you're in it or out and we shall always enjoy the victory when it comes and overcome with sadness when we lose that's all what the game is about ,criticisms, opinions, challenges are all parts and parcel of our finest game FOOTBALL. WELL DONE TO THE BLACK STARS OF GHANA ,BRAZIL 2014 HERE WE COME.

Anyway, there is no need to write long for I already did that attached to KojoLee's. It points out the benefits of positive thinking. When you have time, read it. Sometimes, what we don't think would benefit us, usually does benefit it. It is just a matter of looking at it with a positive thinking.

Slimzay,
I call it pure stupidity when people rain insults on players and for that matter anyone at any forum.
But here is my take, sometimes parents do have feud with the children they love. And yes, parents sometimes must have iron hand to disapprove their children's behavior.
Muntari's reaction that led the Coach to leave him out of the B. S. squad is justified. Kwasi Appiah must sometimes have iron hand to disapprove and punish his players who I must say are wealthier than their Coach. Understandably wealth may get in the head of young and even some older people sometimes.
The good outcome is that, all that past should be past and lessons should be learned.
But Ghanaians should stop being quick to blame and worse of all stop insulting people who put their lives and will to serve Ghana from heart.

Yea, it really happened but not with Accra Hearts of Oak. The correct spelling is Mufulira Wonderers, a one time leading club from Zambia during the days of Thomas Bwalya and Benson Musonda. It was in 1979 when Mufulira Wonderers represented Zambia in the Africa Club Champions Cup. After defeating Simba of Tanzania 4-0 in Dar es Salaam in the first leg of the first round, Wanderers hosted the Tanzanians for the second leg on 1 April 1979 in Lusaka, in what appeared to be a formality game. It turned out to be a catastrophe as Wanderers were thrashed 5-0 and dumped out of the competition 4-5 on aggregate. The local press had a field day calling it Wanderers’ ‘most miserable performance in history’ and ‘a big April Fool’s Day affair.
Their misfortunes with Accra Hearts of Oak had of course happened two years earlier in 1977. In the semi-finals, they faced Hearts of Oak of Ghana in the first leg in Lusaka. Wanderers triumphed 5-2 but were eliminated on away goals after Hearts prevailed 3-0 in Accra.
So, Orpheus, Agyeman Jones is not far from right only he misplaced the event. It really happened!!

Very good and experienced player, simply world class. Anyway, we have a routine job to do in the return leg. Lets go there and thrash them again.

Well done Muntari, simply a world class player. We still have a routine job to do in the return leg. Lets go and thrash them again to confirm our superiority over the so called 7 time African Champions.

You kidding, right? Where are you pulling this tall tale from?
Hearts lost 5-2 in Zambia and conjured the Elwak Miracle to advance 3-0 over Mulifuri Wanderers!!!
Yea, it really happened but not with Accra Hearts of Oak. The correct spelling is Mufulira Wonderers, a one time leading club from Zambia during the days of Thomas Bwalya and Benson Musonda. It was in 1979 when Mufulira Wonde ...
