As for our star players, most of them are not featuring regularly for their various teams and those who are either playing regularly are doing in so in teams that are , again performing below their
expected standards. I am sure K P Boateng would have been shortlisted if he had continued to do well in AC Milan rather than that impromptu move to FC Schalke in Germany. Michael Essien isn't getting regular play any longer and we all know Asamoah Gyan isnt playing in any better league than our boys in Ghana are, except that, the differene is the atronomical fees he earns in each appearance. Hey! who will begrudge that, the man was out to make money and he is.... Where we come from, Money is the King, not talent building nor reliable exposure. I would have done the same.
